All a bit rusty after the summer break then, not too many points to tally up for the first game of the season. A saints defeat in the cup was hardly a great start but I'm sure if we are top of the league come May then no one will care.

2-1 to Ross county, winters getting the opener and 2365 turned up to watch it.
Well done to radford, blueheaven and sainteesrule for going for the ross victory and in particular to noose and dunblanemike for getting the 2-1 score correct as well.

A few more points this week, and a good start for the saints and top of the league.

No one got the opening scorer but there were plenty of points to be had else where.

well saints season has been a bit of a disaster so far, 3-0 defeat last weekend on home turf followed by 4-0 away this week. manager and players alike have alot of thinking to do.

Radford was closest to the scoreline predicting a 3 goal defeat, sainteesrule and muzz went for 2 goal defeats while lew went for thistle to win 2-1. They all get 2pts.

Many thanks again to Radford for doing the league updates for me while I was away in Russia (working...). I am away in Gibraltar next weekend competing so the league will be updated next monday/tuesday I hope.

A few points this week, with star of the show being Finnersfan of SJFC - 10pts for a perfect prediction. scoreline, scorer and crowd (within 50), and now joins the elite group of people who have achieved such a feat.

So the saints season is off and running now, and another good 3pts this week gets us with in 4pts of the top spot.

The run continues and saints open up a bit of breathing space at the top of the league. 7wins and a draw from 8games is pretty good form considering it was only a few weeks ago people were questioning the managers job.....

The champions finish the season in style, 4-0 win is the perfect end to a successful season.

Swankie got the rout under way just after halftime - only adidas got this part correct.

a meaningless game after the season had finished meant a low crowd even by airdrie standards - just 633 turned up, andy gets a point and sjfcsean gets 2pts - the only points collected here.

so after 41 rounds and approximately 2000 predictions the season is all over. well done to SteveMcQueen for winning the WeArePerth prediction league title (for a second time i think). Welldone also to Wellsy and Singaporesaint who put up a great fight right to the end.

Can I suggest the crowd points should be given for being within a percentage rather than 50 or 100. As getting within 50 in a crowd of 60,000 may be a bit tougher!

thats an interesting idea - are you expecting 60,000 at mcDiarmid park every week?? on a serious note I have changed the values from 50 to 500 and 100 to 1000 for rangers and celtic games in the past. maybe the numbers need to be scaled up a bit for the spl (maybe 250 and 500 for non oldfirm games). either way I agree the numbers need to be modified a bit
