I don't know the answers...
1) Which member of the current Arsenal team scored 2 goals against Saints in European competition, and apparently it's nowt to do with any of our 10 Uefa Cup ties!?!
2) Which former member of Saint's back-room staff won a European Cup Winners Medal? Apparently this person died fairly recently.

1 - I believe this to be one of Arsenal's many foreign youngsters so the names to look for:
Gael Clichy
Mathieu Flamini
Francesc Fabregas
Quincy Owusu-Abeyie (now of Spartak Moscow)

Roger Hynd, who won a Cup Winners Medal with the Huns and was assistant manager at Muirton in the 1970's?

I assume by the question it was European Cup (ie Champions League) and, as such, the Rangers player wouldn't count as they won the sadly departed Cup Winners Cup.

European Cup... not Cup Winners Cup... I reckon Radders must be correct.

Was Ronnie Simpson a Lisbon Leech? If so, I'm sure it was him as he was our goalkeeping coach in the early nineties.
Ronnie Simpson was in the European Cup winning side.
There was an incident in that game where he came out and an Inter Milan player approached him and he back heeled the ball to a defender. Real cool. 8)

It was superb, yep. You'd think it only happened yesterday the way folk still go on about it though. It's as bad as England and 1966.
They must be just about due another testimonial/benefit/handout by now, surely - we're well into February and there still hasn't been one this year! :P
