I,m struggling to pick someone. We lost two shite goals today so I can,t see how you can give it to any defender.Swankie was quite good but he MUST try to take players on and get to the by-line which he hardly did today.Midfield was at best average today. So it,s got to be a striker, but who????
Savo is tireless and he also scored so he gets my vote.

Because the two goals were not James fault, thought he led by example today

The second one was a deflected shot hiw can you blame anyone for that??

I thought it was a good entertaining match.

Swankie - I thought we lost the edge when he went off.

Swankie just edges for me with James a close second.
Thought Swankie looked really hungry today and was totally miffed that he was subbed before Sheerin (think this sub cost us the 3 points)

Ithought the two kevs were outstanding today, but you only get one vote so james just shades it for me.

He,s in charge of the defence and it was his shit clearance straight to a Morton player that set up the equalizer.

probably because they were not at fault(sheerin midfield)first goal. second goal was a clearance that should have been dealt with long before the goal !! cant really put any blame on defence for that!!! can you? not directly anyway, after all how many times have you seen that type of clearance resulting in a saints breakaway???

The clearance was fine at the time since it got rid of the immediate danger - don't think anyone expected Pantypoo to have a go and certainly from where I was the shot didn't seem that powerful yet nobody reacted to block it.

Don,t get me wrong I thought it was an entertaining match as well.I just meant that as a unit our defence shipped two goals today, both avoidable and for that reason I would not vote for a defender.James poor clearance directly lead to thier second goal.He headed the ball into an area where there were no saints players but there was a morton player.I,m not saying he was shit just that he was not the best Saints player on the park.

Anyway it,s all about opinions and thats mine and your entitled to yours...( even if it is bollocks:laugh:)

Only person to blame for first goal is Mr Sheerin. A Ridic attempted backpass. Never play football like that in your own half.

Your 100% correct

The 2nd goal was going to be the keepers ball till the boy re-directed it away from the keeper.
Very avoidable if after the big stramash the ball was put out of the park to allow us to regroup.
This is something we must start doing as I think we are in danger of trying to play to much football at times.
You are 2-1 up with less than 10 mins to go - get it out the park. cant score from there.

Yeah his clearence under pressure from a dropped Mclean mistake, which then nobody closed down
to blame him for any of the goals is idiotic!

Went for Holmes, i thought his work rate was superb and went for everything today. He put in a great shift just ahead of swankie and james.

Why thank you .

I,m not blaming him as an individual I,m blaming the Defence, which he is part of, as is the goalie, who I have already said does not inspire confidence and fails to command his area. The defence as a UNIT lost a very poor goal which I will say one more time incase you don,t understand what I,m trying to say ,means I would find it hard to award MY M.o.M. vote to a defender.

I hope this explaination clarifies my opinion
