Swankie for me. McInnes has said it but if we can just make ourselves hard to beat, we have individuals who can do damage. Thought there were several decent performances though.

Millar again for me. I thought he was outstanding all afternoon.Good to see Savo amongst the goals as well. Not really a failure in the team today
(except perhaps McKoy)

Savo for me.

Did what he's there to do under pressure after they drew level.

Well done to all though - apart from McKoy who was gash.

Savo for me, ran his arse off all afternoon and always looked dangerous. Bagged two goals too.

Not many poor performers today at all. McKoy was pretty disappointing but he's not match sharp.

I'm going for Savo too. 2 good strikers goals and another really hardworking performance.
Swankie was good in the first half, Millar brilliant during the second; but Savo put in a fine shift over the 90 minutes. Thought Craig was also good coming forward, but I'm still not convinced left back is the best position for him.

thought everyone put in a good shift, including McKoy (does he get slagged as much as he does coz you cannae miss him?). Three or four standouts, Savo, Holmes, Millar and my MOM Swankie.

Thought the game changed when mooner came on, great footballer. Mckoy is rotten. There probably is talent there but he aint interested. Millar, savo and ruti had good games as well. Also thought main was solid today. Think i will go for millar just ahead of savo and mooner.

Morgan looked tidy enough when he came on. Swankie though aye. Ran his erse off all day.

Savo worked his arse off but Swankie, Caff and Ruti did well.

I must have missed something but apart from his goal I thought Swankie was poor. He offers us nothing out wide, struggles to go past anyone and fails to deliver the ball into the box.

At the moment he is a passenger in the team and has failed to impress.

If I was asked to describe the opposite of Gavin Swankie, this would be it.

i disagree with you mate i felt today swankie looked interested try to beat a few players and really tried today i thought he was one of our better players and had a better game and when he got past his man he delieverd a few crosses most went astray but you cant fault him today ,
savo worked hard and got 2 crucial goals ,swankie played well and got his goal , millar was millar showing class ,mooner looked tidy when coming on even give a wee bit of credit to nick mckoy who put in a reasonalble shift but my man of the match was mccafferty today usually am harsh on him but he played his socks off and was my motm ..... long story there but why critisise our players after a win and fault them
:D

Mcaff for me - beginning to look solid -reading the game better and very professional - hope he gets more solid as time goes on.....Dont think there was a poor performer in a Saints top today-despite a few wayward passes from Rusty and Nik.

Honourable mention for Moon. He looked a much sharper, stronger player when he came on than we've seen in the past. Unlucky not to score when his shot hit the post. A great future

Savo for his goals.

Would have gone for Caff otherwise...really starting to make the centre half position his own.

I don't think its any coincidence that our return to form has coincided with Caff stepping up to the mark. I like the way he looks to pass the ball out of defence, with less aimless punts.

Savo for me. I think I would have voted for him even if he didn`t score as he works hard for the team. If the rest put in as much work we wouldn`t be playing catch up.

Millar a close second * Mooner is a grat wee ball winner & brings a lot to midfield.

Swankie, Millar, Moon, Savo & Ruti had great games Liam Craig gets the nod tho

typical milne getting the majority vote.

Mind he was gash in the reserve cup and got himself sent off!!!!!!!

3 points is most important, not players, just team effort.

My vote for him was based on his performance yesterday not in any previous games. Reading his interview, it looks like the red card has turned his season. He's worked hard to get back into the team and has now scored 3 in 2 games. Keep it up Savo!

Del must surely have seen something in McCoy to pluck him from obscurity in English lower non league football. He may have been an early sub yesterday but surely the lad is still finding his feet at this level. If McIness feels he is not going to make the grade he will be packed off back to where he came from soon enough.

Radford and others who voted for Swanks please explain yourself. I didn't think he did much apart from a flukyish goal. Fair enough he put himself about a lot more, but not as much as the likes of Savo and Millar. I thought Morgan did a better job of getting down the wing when he came on, but granted he had a lot more space with Airdrie pushing forward.

Savo MOM for me, did he piss in your cornflakes St Mikey? :D

McKoy had one or two nice touches, and the same amount of crap ones. Moon should have had a start ahead of him, as he was ace when he came on. Mind you, Morgan had a good shift, as well, despite coming on late. He adjusted quickly to the pace, helped create one of Savo's goals, and was allegedly strong going forward, though I didn't see him because I was sitting quite far away from the pitch, up high under the roof!

Also, if Rusty didn't just punt the ball all the time, he could actually be one of the best defenders in the division!

I'll just have to say Savo, though. That guy seems to score for fun.

Have to give it to Savo, thought he was excellent throughout yesterday. Done his usual power of running, never gives up the chase and got his reward by netting 4 times!!

The introduction of Moon at half time changed things for Saints. He has an excellent touch and great vision in the middle of the park and has a great engine, got my vote just in front of Millar and Savo.

Milne is on form, lets hope he can continue the goals.
his effort last week may have went un-noticed by a few fans who were wrapped up in Sheerin. But Savo is leading the team by example, keep up the hard work!

To be fair, until that point it was almost as if we'd been playing with 10 men. McKoy just didn't turn up.

Ive said it before and i'll say it again, McKoy is a very bad footballer.
