But according to the match commentary they have been very well behaved with no sign of trouble what-so-ever!!
And they were congratulating the Rangers fans for being in evidence in all parts of the ground :x

A chance for rangers to put over a good image of themselves and Scottish football to a European audience and again a select number of idiots spoil it!

The Spanish police are notorious for being heavy handed, ask the e***ish or the Celtic fans.
Ofcourse there is no excuse for attacking the team bus, but Rangers warned everyone about the narrow entrances to the stadium, and when the team bus is trying to get through a packed side street there will always be one or two idiots take it too far.
As for Benidorm, the fans were attacked for singing and dancing in a bar, the Spanish police have done this on many occassion, they are good at it.
They see British tourists causing bother almost every week of the year, they must love the chance to give them a slap when it is football as they cannot baton charge the tourists, bad for the industry.
I am not defending them just stating some facts.
A minority of Rangers fans have let Scotland down.
No trouble in the stadium, the fans were excellent together.
Do not kid yourselves that the TA are all angels, if it wasn't for self policing there would be trouble at almost every away Scotland match.
I do not think Rangers fans can self police themselves, imagine any fan trying to tell some stauch proddy to stop singing that sh8ite, they would not dare. Young Glasgow neds mixed with staunch loyalists are not to be messed with, the genuine football fan cannot argue with or control these people.

I agree you can't expect Scottish sectarian bigots to walk down a narrow street without causing trouble. They should have redesigned the whole area for their visit.

I get your drift Ronaldo, but I'm only stating fact, there will be more trouble at a stadium like that, it will not be exclusive to the HUNS.

Villarreal are well used to big clubs coming to their ground. In fact this season there have been attendances equal to that of the Rangers game from home Spanish opposition. Man Utd had the same attendance there and Benfica (Portugal), Real madrid and Barcelona all brought larger crowds to Villarreal. However Rangers supporters are the only supporters who can't seemingly cope with narrow streets. :***: On many of the Scottish club web site forums there was no surprise at this because we have seen their arrogance away from Glasgow in our own local communities. It is a weakness for scotland to accept this kind of behaviour as the norm. Here are a few clubs who have visited Villarreal in the last three years and whose supporters can walk down narrow streets:
