Firstly, will this match even go ahead??? The weather forecast aint to good for the start of the week and the BBC are forecasting HEAVY snow showers in Dingwall area on Thursday..

If it does go ahead, what's the chances of yet another borefest snorefest?????

We need to score some ****ing goals although I would bite yer hand of for a 1-0 saints... Countys home form is hit and miss. Won 5 lost 4 with no draws..( every chance we'll ruin that statistic for them). I really enjoy going up there and apart from the actual game, I'm very much looking forward to it.

I have no idea what formation our esteemed manager is going to employ and which personel he will use, but I like a few others would like to see Holmes rested and a more sure footed and sliky attacking force being used. With the only other game being the Administration is us league clash between the Financial challenged and the great unwashed, we have yet another chance to pull away at the top (if and it's a big ****ing if, we can beat County)....

16 unbeaten so far, we might even get to 30 unbeaten by the end of the season, but if we do and continue playing the way we have been, there will be no-one awake to witness it...So come on McInnes, lets stop being quite so cautious and murder a team...or at least look like we might murder a team( as I said a 1-0 murdering will do if it has to)..
Saints are top of the league. Why does it not feel brilliant???? Maybe I'm just a miserable cnut.

Team wise....who knows......

I'm going to get slated for this but maybe the one thing we need is a...defeat? :?? Would take all the pressure off of trying to keep the unbeaten run going. I think we are to scared to lose and therefore dont throw caution to the wind nearly enough.

A game like this where we are not expecting to win, and our main title rivals (probably Thistle and Dunfermline but who knows) dont have a game, may be the perfect time to lose. It sounds daft but it may give the team the necessary kick up the a*se that they need to go on and win the league.

It is daft:laugh: but I see where your coming from...And I am expecting to win..We have the personel to remain unbeaten but I hope the boss shuffles ( tweeks) it a bit. Dropping a couple of players could be as good a kick up the arse as losing

He wont need it if its the injury he described recently. I am talking from experience on that. Its a pest to diagnose but not that difficult to treat though takes a while.

To be honest i dont wanna travel the crack of 130 miles to witness ANOTHER 0-0 snorefest. On the view i feel we do need to lose as stupid as it sounds as we appear to be too focused on maintaining this undefeated streak, we have not scored in the league this year, nor have we conceded this year. We dominated yesterday but apart from homers 2 chances we created **** all.

If the game would not go ahead it will have to get replayed midweek most likely a tuesday which will be a pain in the ass.

My team for this game would be.....

Main (Legend!!)

Irvine Caff Ruti Gartland

Sheerin Morris Craig Swankie

Homer Sammy

Subs: McLean, Miller, Jackson, Ando, Savo.

unless we have signed a left back I think he'll keep with the 3 at the back, Would possibly move Sheerin to play as teh wing back and move liam in 1. I would try and go for Jackson with Samuels up front. with the aim of bringing homer on later in teh game.

He has had lower back problems for as long as i have known him and its not stopped him in the past.
You look back on some of our best results this season and Martin has been involved. Midfield lack drive and attacking 'creativity' without him.

The temperature is still due to be above freezing. Even if it snows as long as they get the snow off the pitch the game should go ahead.

Problem is quite often on the A9 though not necessarily what the weather is like in Dingwall. The games are often called off in the interest of public safety rather than the pitch being unplayable.

I can see where you're coming from and thought the same myself a few weeks back. A defeat to Ross County on 3rd Jan had the game gone ahead would've been the perfect time for it to happen.

A win in this game, if it goes ahead, could be the one that helps us win the league. The big task for Del is to not let the lack of goals recently affect the strikers' morale. A win, even if the ball goes in off Sammy's bum, would give the team a huge boost of confidence and set us up for the run in for the title.

Not bad really that we're still picking up points when we're going through a bad patch. Things will get better once we start hitting the back of the net again. If we win this one then I can see us scoring a few against Dunfermline :D

Just spoken to County - They are going to make an announcement this afternoon about the game but its likely that a pitch inspection wont be undertaken until tomorrow morning (probably right when we're all at Aviemore!). I really hope for your sake the game is on, im not sure if you would be able to last any longer without having the chance to stand on the terracing. Rumour has it, that you have been inconsable ever since Saturday when you never got the chance to stand in the WDE!

Fingers crossed this game is on, best away day of the season. Whats the story with Peaso? If he is fit i would start him and Jacko up front, nothing against Homer, he has been doing well, we just need a change. I wonder how Jody will cope if the game is on tomorrow? If he is anything like his fellow Londoners he will be unable to make the game, due to a few inches of snow! 3-1 us, Jody to hit a 35 yard screamer, and a Jacko double. See you on the 9.50am SJFC Express.

Radford, blow the cobwebs off the flag and bring it along. I'll meet you at the usual pick up point in O'Paddys Bar.

Regarding the terrace being shut; the 208 has 2 buses plus the other bus that the old farts like Ghost usually go on, then there is the ever increasing Choo Choo mob and then the people who travel by car. Can't see them accommodating that in that tin shed stand.

As Herts has already said, the best thing to do is have a look at the traffic cameras here:

Traffic Scotland > Live-Eye-Views (http://www.trafficscotland.org/lev/index.aspx)

Shows Drumochter and Slochd. Pretty heavy snow but if folk leave in plenty of time there shouldn't be any issues. No doubt you'll still find Mr BMW overtaking on a blind corner at 110mph though.

Young lad works in Dingwall......they have light covering of snow at the moment.

Aviemore has about 8 or 9 inches at the moment and it has started snowing again.

Biggest problem on the A9 is the lorries and inexperienced drivers ( those that have not driven in snow / icy conditions) who suddenly come to a halt and cant move until the gritters arrive.

The worst bits will be Drumochter and Cuaich which have a habit of drifting snow storms-but the Kingussie plough drivers are usually shit hot at clearing....so we might all get there-but might not all get back.

The London-Inverness Sleeper is currently stopped at Aviemore as the line is blocked..

Also just to advise you all that the A9 is tricky between Aviemore and Inverness, with them saying it's taking about twice as long to drive that section with hard compacted snow on the road.
The Drumochter pass is also a bit dodgy..

So maybe best heading off a bit earlier and taking your time....

The police are taking cars through in convoys so that you don't get people risking it at high speed, that's why the camera appears empty, there will be a queue of cars somewhere behind a police car doing 30mph.

When was the last win?

I didn't realise that dissalowed goals meant anything either

Our form in the last 10 games has us mid table, if you are happy with losing away to Ross County then it's not me who has the problem!

Hard to comment seeing as I am not at the game but this scoreline doesn't surprise me. McInnes would have you believe we have been playing brilliant and have been unlucky with all our draws. In honesty, his insistance with persisting with Holmes and not signing a left back has seen us stuttering our way through the last 4 or 5 games. We don't look like scoring.

For a team top of the league you should be confident of coming back from 2-0 down agaisnt County. To do that though we would need to score two goals in a game for the first time since November.

Get Peaso and Jacko on and for the first time this seasom play our two best strikers.

Doesn't surprise me at all. This unbeaten run we've been on is blinding the fact there are obvious problems. 4 goals in 8 games is pish. If Holmes is making chances big deal, to many games have passed without a goal, he should be hooked, simples. Unfortunatly it sometimes takes a pish result at County for some folk to realise. With Dundee winning the top is tightening up, i just hope this isnt the start of the annual event that is Saints bottling another title challenge.

According to BBC Scotland we have already scored 2 goals. Both of which were chopped off. But as you said in your first line very difficult to comment cause we have not seen it.

A contradiction in terms inyour last line Broon with the words Best 2 strikers and Peaso!!!
