Not many standout performances IMO. Rutkiewicz stood up to be counted in the second half and Sheerin looked like one of the few not afraid to make a mistake because of the pitch. Millar is starting to regain some form and played a great pass for the goal. Quieter game from Jody.

Will go for Rutkiewicz.

I thought Holmes had a great game today. Won pretty much everything that went near him, held the ball up well but unfortunate that Jacko/Savo weren't quick to take advantage of his lay-offs

Irvine for me, no standout performances.

Millar looked very good in the second half, and Rusty did his job well enough. Most of the other players didn't earn half their salary today, though, because they only began performing in the last 20 minutes! Also the worst I've seen Morris play.

Either Irvine or Samuel stand out most for me, but Sammy looked fantastic when he came on, and was exactly what was needed. Well done that man!

was he the one who made that goal-line clearance near the end? I couldn't see it from where I sat.

I was pretty sure it was Ruti who made the clearance near the end.

Irvine for me, sound performance from Gary!

Aye right! Homer by a long way.

Got to be sammy. the only difference between one point and three was his skill for the finish.

Rusty for me as well - but I think some folk are being harsh on Morris - he was all over the pitch and gave 100%

Agreed, played well in the first half especially- my MOM.

Honourable mentions to big Dinky and Caff.

I'll agree with that. His contribution often goes unnoticed by many, myself included, but he was great in the second half. Also reassuring to hear him tear into the players when the game was stopped. He's also an athletic wee bugger when he needs to be!

Its becoming a habit for me but I'm going for Irvine, put in another hard shift today along with some timely tackles, doesn't always take the ball off the attacker but does enough to hold up a move and allows our less mobile defenders to get back and mark up.

Millar. It was a toss up betwen Caff/Ruti or him. The pass for the goal was the key point.

Jody had is poorest game this season and I am a big Jody fan. Too many misplaced passes but good to see him further up the field at times.

Rusty for me today although it could easily have been Irvine for the third week in a row or Caff..

Caff for me .I thought he was immense.Ruti had a good game as well . how can anyone think of dropping any of them to make way for Gartland.

Morris for me - grafted throughout. Misplaced passes but at the same time he seemed to be the only one willing to make himself available when we went forward. Caff, Irvine and Ruti did well but the rest faded too often.

geoff was right!!

Can believe anyone saying Morris was poor, best in midfield by a country mile.Thought Ruti and Caff had great games at the back along with Irvine. Sammy changed the game and deserves his plaudits too. Hard choice from these 5 but i'll go for Caff.

Don't remember him doing anything particularly poor??...A few crosses that he could have came to collect but it was fairly windy today, especially first half and the ball was regularly getting caught in the wind. Lay off the big man.

Main had a decent game, didn't come for 1 cross which was going away from him and had a jittery moment at the end but apart from that he dealt with everything

On a day when no player was at his best, Main, Craig and Holmes came closest to doing what was expected, with my vote going to Liam.

This gets trotted out a lot and by now it's just patronising, I can appreciate full well what his role is, and I thought he had an average game today, quite a few misplaced passes.

Also, I thought Rusty had a not so good game, he went tearing out for a header and completely messed up twice, and Caff had to mop up the mess with him now miles out of position.

Sammy for me, no great performances but a touch of class to win the game.

And yet whenever he played a sideways pas to keep possession, those around me belted abuse.

Quite amazed at the amount of people voting for Holmes. He did ok but found himself in bizarre situations with the ball and was afraid to shoot sometimes.

Sammy for me. Came on and done what the rest of the team didn't do, test their goalkeeper.

McCaffery, his defending was solid and played really well. Samuel was an excellent sub and played a great 20 mins but overall i think McCaffery was the best player.

im glad to see caff and rusty flying ahead of the rest here, stark contrast to the beginning of the season

sammy got his goal fair enough, but i think its unfair to call him MOM over players like the aforementioned, Craig, Irvine, Homer even Savo and Jackson for the parts they played.. as they had large parts to play, Sammy just came on provided one or two classy touches and gets all the praise

fair enough but i think its unfair on the rest of the guys. MOM for me, Rusty
