Sunday Mail Article (http://www.sundaymail.co.uk/sport/tm_objectid=16803784%26method=full%26siteid=64736% 26headline=exclusive%2d%2duefa%2dcan%2dhit%2drange rs%2dfor%2dmillions-name_page.html)
At last someone appears to be do something other than pay lip service to these b@$t@rds and is actually taking action.
Unsurprisingly the lead isnt coming from the domestic powers that should have acted ages ago...SPL, SFA, Holyrood...as they are either too scared to do anything, are full of OF bigots anyway or a mixture of both.
I really hope this isnt a false dawn and actually is the start of something positive against bigotry in Scottish football.
I totally agree, hopefully UEFA will come down hard on them and punish Rangers properly for the behaviour of their fans. Something like this has been far too long coming. Hopefully strong actions like this will finally begin to change things for the better.
I do have a small amount of sympathy (a very, very small amount) with Rangers fans who say they are being singled out. The lack of action taken against racism in Spain and other countries across Europe is absolutely appalling and if Rangers are going to lose millions of pounds in revenue then Spanish clubs with racist fans must be fined more than the usual token gesture of €800 or so. That is just unacceptable.
Well done though to UEFA for trying to do something about this.

Exactly... what's someone, born and bred in Scotland doing glorifying Northern Ireland

Born and bred in Scotland to a Dundonian parent and a Northern Irish parent - if you were going to 'glorify' one of the two, wouldn't you choose Northern Ireland too?

Norman Tebbit suggested that if immigrants to the UK wanted to be considered British then they should support the English cricket team and not Pakistan, India etc.
