PC HELP NEEDED

Can anyone tell me how to copy cassette taped music and records onto my PC.
The stuff I want to transfer is one off Tartan Army songs that you cannot get anywhere on the net, so it has to be copied from disc or cassette.

I think my brother (Boogie) can do things like this? He can with videos etc and has dones omething like this before for me so i will ask him after work tonight and let you know if nobody can provide help before then!

I would be tempted just to use a the mic on my PC and do it that way, no doubt they'll be another way of doing but maybe this is maybe the most straightforward way.

Aye, if you want it done and nobody else can help John, just get the tape to me and I will get it back to you asap. Have to fit in with work but if it isn't urgent then should be ok

I have the facilities - not a problem - can transfer any medium to any other medium (i.e - records/tapes to cd/minidisc/tape/mp3 etc)

If you speak to Mr Bear or Mr Radford, they will point you out to me at tomorrow's game.

I have some single records and songs on a tape to transfer.

Can you download the videos on the website I posted on Fitba chat?

Will look and see what I can do with them (videos) - may be able to get them from "alternative" sources :wink:
Anything you've got on "hard copy" (tape/record etc) is a piece of p*** to do - 10 minutes.
Just get them to me and I'll get them copied.
If I can get them tomorrow, you'll have them back by Drew's night in the 208.

I'll give the stuff to Beve tomorrow, she will get someone to point you out.
I have got the stuff together.
11 songs on record, I have marked on each single which songs to copy.
8 songs/commentry on tape, I have circled the songs on the index.
And one whole side of a tape as I cannot remember what is on it but I do know there are a few songs I need (jimmy Hill's a poof is the first song on the tape, cracker)
I hope this is not too much for you, let me know if it is, but I wlll see you alright for it.
