The Caledonian Spring Cup: 5th april 2009

[THE LARK SAINT]

THE CALEDONIAN SPRING CUP will take place on the North inch @ 1.30 pm this will be on a mini leauge style format with the 4 teams playing each other once in 30 minute games(15 minute halves)Normal football rules apply but with a wee tweek to the points system, if any teams draw there will be sudden death pens to decide a winner.3 points will be awarded for a straight win and 2 points for a win on sudden death pens.In the event of teams tied at the end of the contest,most goals scored best gd ect, will count sudden death pens to be taken other wise.The winners will be presented with the caledonian cup plus a player of the tournament .

The football will be followed by an afternoon/ evening in ORMONDS BAR Where there will be a presentation of the trophys presented by one of scotlands top dj's music, games food and most of all much drinking. how about a trophy for the team that scores the most goals ? problem is the team that scores the most goals usually wins , there is the team that concedes the least goals but same thing, they would probably win the tournament. a little harder but what about the player that plays to the spirit of the day ( no bad fouls ,arguing with the ref etc ) voted for by the ref of each games ?
