Sheerin, Samuel and Barrett were maybe above average. Caff and Main did fine. Not sure which of the first three I'll go for.

Mooner. One bad pass I can recall, tackled well, good cross, good passing, and shouldn't have been substituted.
Craig had another poor game.

Easy one this week either mooner or barrett. I'll go for mooner as he had a lot more involvement than barrett

Sheerin. He seemed like the only one who could control the ball and pass it. Mooner and Barratt also played well

Samuel for me - as much for his effort given that he was played too deep - but he looked our most threatening player IMO.

Sammy - showed what he is capable of at times and put in some decent tackles in defence (although why he should have had to is a real worry)

Mooner for me - always tried to play football

I went for Rusty thought he dealt with Brewster very well, same as the rest of the team his use of the ball was poor.

I like the new option of no vote.
This week, every player looked cowards. We dont have any direction, and I must of been watching a different game to some people on here but in no way was Samuel man of the match! he did not beat a man, he did not deliver a dangerous cross. I thought he was hiding best part of the game! Samuel v Swankie = both not taken advantage of their starting place in the team. Both players cause for concern!
I would shade McCaffrey as being the only pass marks, didnt make any mistakes, everyone else was far below the standard I expect.

Rusty by means of the best of a bad bunch today.
Samuel was non-existant, never seemed interested.
Holmes, used as a battering ram again, and again, and again.
Irvine/Craig were both shocking at full back. I can't understand why the crossing from them was so rank. Irvine at one point took a horrendous touch and crossed from 50yrds - WTF is that all about?!?!!?
Mooner done well but was chasing the game as we kept booting the ball over his head. No point in having a ball player and you don't give him it.
We won't win the league if we cannot break down cannon-fodder teams like Ross County.
I'll stick my neck on the line and say that if we play like this again on Tuesday v Clyde, they WILL beat us as they seem to have been a bogey team of ours over the last few years.

I like the no vote option as there was no one today that justified the title of MoM.

I wouldn't give someone MoM based on who was less diabolical than the others, so I voted 'no vote'.

Sorry but nobody good enough for man of the match yesterday, poor performance by the lads, although again the defence was solid, but I went for a no vote.
If we do win this league and thats a big IF, we will probably be the most boring champonship winners of all time.
Can someone tell me why Del insists on having every single player back when defending a corner??

no vote is so NEGATIVE!!! ok we did not play that great, but ross county came with a game plan to shut us down, put 2 men on our players where we could hurt them, not fantastic i agree but we are top of the league , unbeaten in 21 games, feck knows what some on here would be like if we were mid table!! so a no vote to me slaps of oldfirmitis.... cue ghosties wrath!!!

Hey I am as delighted as the next man that we are top and hope to god we can win it doing what ever it takes but.....
No vote being negative you are spot on, but the way we are playing just now is just that, negative!
Slow going forward, 11 men in the box defending a corner, and real lack of creativity.
Its just opinions but they need to be voiced!

I used to collect the 3-2-1 votes on the supporters bus and got really pissed off with the "am no voting after that pish" brigade after a defeat or poor draw, personally always managed to pick at least one player or it becomes disrespectfull to the people that put a lot of work into setting up these kind of things! my way of thinking has always been to find the best , whether thats from a good game or a bad game.

Your are right, I think its just out of frustration that so many people wanted to have a no vote.
geoff was right!!

Maybe it comes down to the timing of when everyone votes. Most are just after the match when emotions are running high. I took the "no vote" last night but that was down to being p1ssed off with the performance. After sleeping on it I would give my MOM to either Sammy, Barrett or Caff.
At the same time as I walked out yesterday I said I wouldn't go to Clyde but today I cant wait for it.
Different day.....different game.....and we'll be there supporting the mighty St Johnstone on their unbeaten run to the league title.

I don't understand why Samuel has more votes than Moon. He was fantastic in flashes, then invisible for 10 minutes.

Right on cue here comes the wrath.. I support Saints, I want Saints to do well, I hope we do well, but now and again we are shite.Yesterday was an example of that and I would be a hypocrite if I then said I thought such and such was the MOM when NO PLAYER reached a level that I WOULD consider worthy of such an accolade...I think it is anything but OLDFIRMITIS, more like honesty. It is also just 1 option amongst 17 options..
And finally MR.LARK...If you want to talk negativity lets talk.. I saw 90 minutes of it yesterday and have seen plenty more of it in the last few months..I'm starting to become a ****ing expert on the subject....
For someone to get a MOM award that player SHOULD STAND OUT from his fellow players..NOBODY DID THAT YESTERDAY. That's why I and other have chosen to vote no award. :D

Seeing as 15 of us have as you say " Taken the time to cast our votes" for no-one, it would be wrong to remove it. You are attempting to censor our opinions, which is fundamentaly wrong.
I will say this one more time....
A MOM award is for a player who produces a display of a standard above that of his fellow players. In my opinion, nobody did that yesterday and JUST giving a vote to someone for the sake of it, devalues the competition more than voting for no-one. If you feel one player DID play to a standard worthy of MOM then you vote for them but I aint giving my vote, which as important as anyone elses, just for the sake of it, to someone selected with a pin while I am blindfolded ...
This does not mean I do not support the team, this does not mean I am a bad person..All this means is that I am being honest and telling it AS I SAW IT..
And I'll be at Broadwood on Tuesday night, hoping that ALL our players can produce a performance worthy of my vote. That's the kinda problem I'm looking for..........
Stop trying to deny supports the freedom to voice there opinions just because you disagree with them....

no Saints player in my mind managed a rating 6 out of 10. all 5s. Man of the match was #5 for Ross County who i rated 7. A No man of the match option should be available every week :)

surely then there should be an ALL vote rather than a no vote. If no one player dispalyed a standard above any other then they all displayed the same level so you should vote ALL.

Your right. There Should be a WHOLE TEAM " option for when we play well as a team. Yesterday though, NOBODY did enough to merit an award of man of the match. As a team we were VERY poor...I am not voting for someone just for the sake of it....It's pointless

I would go along with Soulful's comments about Swankie looking the business during the warm up! Couple of nice touches! Not quite MOM though!
