Apologies for the delay this week. I thought Caff had a solid match and covered a lot for Rutkiewicz, who had a bad day at the office. Can't overlook the fact it was Caff that got turned for their goal though. Gary Irvine wasn't bad but I'm going for Mooner who, especially after Sheerin went off, really tried to get us playing football. If he keeps up this form, it's going to be very hard to drop him.

I'd go with that but I enjoyed Alan Main's drag backs too. Not many contenders tho.

Caff was very good particularly in the 2nd half, but im going for mooner who was lively throughout the whole game, really tried to make things happen, unfortunatley no one around him were on the same wavelength.

Thought swankie picked up where he left off, close between him and moon again
Having missed the Clyde game I was pleasantly surprised by Swankie. Didn't think he was particularly brilliant, but he looked a different player purely by putting in a bit of effort. Hopefully he can keep it up.

I was abit worried you'd topped yerself or something:laugh:
Not a great performance with most players not attaining the level they can but I thought Alan Main had a very good game. 2 great saves and his handling in especially diffecult conditions was excellent. He kept us in the game and we were always only one good strike away from getting something. He had no chance with gypoboys wonder strike...

Mains skill was great but was between Caff, Mooner and Swankie for me. Swankie gets my vote for second game in a row.

Mooner for me. The only guy in the team with a football brain apart from Sheerin who is good at ball retention but can`t break down defenses.

Moon was excellent. Caff was pretty good, as was Irvine. Moon for me, terrific wee player.

I didnt think the defence had that great a game yesterday. Again thought either Swankie or Moon. Swankie did have a chance to get the ball in 2nd half and stuffed it up, so Kevin Moon gets my vote.

Mooner. Only glimmer of light from a poor poor game. Least he had a wee bit of drive and had a couple of shots. Swankie was ok, cannae believe he got booked though.
Rusty and Caff were mince. Rusty could've been sent off and Caff got booked for the goal. The ref was going to give a penalty but looked to play Griffiths the advantage.
Ref was a mincer! Got isolated inbetween plays and blocked off players and the ball too much. Baldy git :o)

His kicking was terrible, I know the conditions were poor, but how many times did he hold his hands up, although the footwork was excellent.
