What are your thoughts?
1) Date...
2) Something to do...
For 1) I've started a poll with the options which I think are possibly suitable...
Sat 13th May, but we have a game v Athletico Albino the day afterwards.
Sat 20th May
Sat 27th May
For 2) it could be the usual sit in Ormonds and get drunk and a chippy tea, or have folk got other ideas for a change?
I voted 20th May.
How about a fives tournament in the morning for a bit? These have been excellent when we have had them in the past and gives us something to do before day of drinking ahead!!
Pub afterwards or maybe head for Chinese/Indian buffet to line the stomach?
Just thoughts, I am happy to do anything.
I'd prefer the going somewhere for food idea, but not too fussed.

Fair enough re food and fives (I may get us proper 11's opposition?!)... they should not be too difficult to arrange... anything else?

Aye a game of some kind would be fine, maybe a Wonka select or something. Fives equally good.

CHINESE!
I think the 20th sounds like a good idea as it will make a change from Cup Final day. That way we can have the whole day dedicated to us rather than share Ormonds with clowns who are there to watch the Cup Final. A game of 11's would be superb as well.
Awards do should be the highlight of our season so could Ormonds chain off or reserve the top bit for us as I reckon the best year we have had it was when we had a table there and Captain and Graeme Jones were sitting behind it presenting the awards!
Also think we should make more of an effort food-wise than the Chippy as getting something to eat breaks up the day and agree with Rocket - chinese sounds good, curry too is an option. Can a Perth cat look into this as again we might be able to get a table reserved rather than pile in on various tables in the Buffet King or whatever? In my opinion, this lets you get a second wind and means I may make it past 11pm!
Hows trophy engraving getting on Captain as that would be good to have up-to-date for the awards night?
Everyone else add thoughts as it is good to know what the general consensus is........

A meal sounds like a no bad idea. Quite like the sound of a chimps tea party!!!!
No chimps tea party, I dont work saturdays

Good to see the vice-captain putting his mind to it and giving his usual input into a discussion
Shut it ya dick, happy to go with general consensus. All I need is lots of awards and several more beers and I will be happy.
I like eating so a meal would suit me. Chinese buffet sounds good if they do it on a saturday.
Ive heard folk say the club only send the players to one fans do in the year. Is this the case or would we have any chance of getting a couple along to hand out awards again?
Would it be football, then lunch and beer, then dinner and beer then awards and beer. Or afternoon football and straight to dinner and beer?
'Mon the 27th! Pipeband on the 20th me. I'd come through for awards but dunno if i'd make football and dinner on the 20th. Cue amusing comment from woody.......

Thats what happens every year  I am campaigning for a change of plan - if it fails we can go back to this next year!

Aye a wee meal is a must really I reckon. Although is Spew is coming we better watch out, he is not allowed in most of the pubs in Perth right enough.

Well I think that confirms it...
Loose plan... game of 11's or 5's in the late morning.
Ormonds for grub and beer.
Awards ceremony just before tea.
Table at a buffet meal.
Hit random pubs and clubs.
All on the 20th May.
Gonna lock this now and let it drop.
