Dont get me wrong I love saints and always have supported them and always will but thought it would make a good thread.
So who would everybody follow is there was no St.Johnstone.
I have soft spots for Sheff wed and Sunderland, but i would go for my local team Dumbarton.

My interest in football would probably plummet dramatically if there was no Saints. I definitely wouldn't ever get into supporting another club the way I support Saints. I'd probably spend my weekends doing other things, and just pick and choose games from time to time and try to visit grounds I've never been to - one thing's for sure, I'd save a Helluva lot of money!
I would maybe try to visit a few European grounds from time to time - with the cheap flights available these days and the cheaper ticket price abroad, you can just about travel and get in to some of the bigger European games for the price it takes to get into McDiarmid!

never saw that one comming!!!
if there was no saints i would have probably ended up a caley fan cause their ground was just down the road from me. i do remember thinking ross county were better than them! but either way i would end up freezing my balls of at their games caley park used to be stupidly cold - not been since they put up the rest of the seats and stuff but they wind still blows in from the 'gap' they left there so their adverts could be seen on the road!
would never support the old firm though like all the people in my class did - oh how i enjoyed us gubbing celtic all the time :) and the 3-1 against rangers was my happiest day in school.
Saints are a good team though overall - you get the lows a lot but they make the highs so much better!

Down south it would continue to be Chelsea.
Up here it would most likely be a smaller local team, forfar maybe. Would rather give my dosh to a smaller team that need it more!

Probably watch the Swifts and other Perth junior sides.
After many years of having reasons to dislike / hate most other senior Scottish teams , I would it hard to support any of them.

I'd probably help form a Gannochy amateur or Junior side (we may do it soon anyway)
Or move to Vancouver and follow the Canucks in the NHL :***:

I would probably support Forfar as extended members of my family support them too. Or would further my support with the mighty West Ham.
