Went for Irvine the goal alone deserves it - although I heard on the grapevine he's been watching Sheerin at training

Gary Irvine. When the ball fell to him on his left, it crossed my mind wished it was Sheerin, Swankie or Craig........wasnt expecting what happened next!! Never put a foot wrong and took the total pish out their defence on a couple of occasions.

MMM another good performance the bigger the game gets, the more important he is.

Savo was magnificent too.

As easy as it is to give MoM to Irvine (who was excellent) i'm going with Alan Main. Came out and caught everything that came his way, kicking was good and made a brilliant save late on in the second half. Had that gone in we could have had a nervous end to the game.

Irvine`s goal alone deserves it but his performances over the past 6/7 weeks have been different class.

He probabbly wasn't the best player overall, but for the greatest goal of all time ever I vote for Gary Irvine. Damn, hell, he's great.

Solid performance from Gary Irvine rounded off by a spectacular strike. Was sitting in the Main Stand yesterday and Peaso, Caff, Jody, James were directly behind us. All were very supportive of the team, apart from Collin Samuel, berating his work ethic and effort. Was quite strange to hear that coming from fellow colleagues, but we can all have our opinions!!!!!

Irvine, shades it since his Grandad was so nice and excited for him! Great goal, great run later on and his usual solid self at the back.

The reports I read said he did hit it with his left... :)

I spotted that too, poor show Sunday Mail

Was close between Gary, MMM, Irvine and Rusty.. but I went for the centre back, solid all game, never put a foot wrong and his clearance from Stephen Glass was sublime

mon the rusty!

Gary Irvine for his tireless running down the left - oh aye, his goal was decent too!

Most consistent saints player over the last 4 games - IMHO.

It's actually higher than that - it's 73% of those who were there!

Pretty good going really.
