I'm up for the train as well, only thing is we'll have to go via Glasgow and its the OF game on Saturday.

Four trains an hour Glasgow to Airdrie, 12,27,42 and 57 minutes past the hour.

The trains back also leave at 12,27,42 and 57 minutes past the hour.

Train times vary from 25 minutes to 27 minutes.

Think I'll be getting the train through on Saturday. Meeting my brother briefly in Glasgow beforehand then staying through there afterwards.

Trains run from,

Haymarket - Airdrie on Saturday every 20 minutes at a cost of £15.10 return.

It takes around an hour and a half so 12ish would prob be the best shout.

Returning is around every 20 minutes as well taking the same time.

That would be great if you could give me a lift back Roy. I'm good for payment in petrol money, pints or pie and bovril!

I think i'll just take the car, seems a bit of a treck by train, compared to about an hour by car.

I'll probably be in the bar under the main stand before the game for a pint if anyones about.

An alcoholic beverage sounds good to me.

I'm not going to be able to go anymore. I've been signed off work by the doc with a virus for the next week so can't really go to the football! Enjoy yourselves everyone, and cheers Tommy and Roy for offering lifts.

For anyone travelling to Airdrie by car there's roadworks starting before Castlecary,40 MPH speed limit, don't think there should be much delay but my contacts tell me there are 2 unmarked traffic BMW's pulling folk like their life depended on it.Watch out especially at the Old Inns filling station.Just a wee heads up to save you some readies and points.

C'mon the Saints.

You should be worried then - You were at the Doves concert as well! Can't remember any suntanned couples sneezing all over us though, so pretty slim chance of it being swine flu!
