On a similar line to the world XI what would be the greatest eleven players you have seen in the flesh? (Not on the tv)
That's a tough one! It's hard to remember who you've seen and who you haven't seen, especially when you start getting obscure English games, internationals and U21 internationals involved.
Give me an hour and I might have a team...

It is a tough one mine would be
------------------------------Main--------------------------------
McNamarra--------J Terry--------- Tony Adams---Riise------
-------------Gazza---------Lampard------Laudrup-------------
-------------------------------Zola-------------------------------
--------------------Trezeguet------Larsson--------------------
This is what I came up with, probably missed someone obvious:
Angelo Peruzzi
Andre Bergdolmo -- Alessandro Nesta -- Jaap Stam -- John Arne Riise
Cristiano Ronaldo -- Michael Ballack -- Joey Barton -- Aleksander Hleb
Niall Quinn -- Kevin Phillips
Substitutes: Paul Robinson, Henrik Larsson, Robbie Keane, David Healy,
Christian Vieri, Claudio Reyna, Fabio Cannavaro.
Obviously some of the selections were a little tinged with bias and it's a very attack-minded midfield. It was pretty hard to find appropriate players to fit the positions in an eleven. Have I ever seen any really good right-backs play? There must be someone better than Bergdolmo.

Schmichael (I hope the spelling is ok)
Irwin Pallister Maldini Rossi
Giggs Cantona Del Pierro Kewell
Baggio Best
Subs: Keano, Racoba, Kazu, Yorke, Whiteside, Schwartzer
I saw George Best play in an over 40's tournament here a while ago now, he was probablly pished but I saw him play and he was skinning blokes for fun, even at that level you could see he was so far ahead of everyone else. I would loved to have seen him in his prime.
My defenders are out of shape as far as central defenders are concearned but they are a solid back 4 all very good though.
Midfield again has two blokes who could fit in as out and out strikers, but were two good to leave out, if they were not picked as forwards.
If selecting George Best is pushing it, I would throw in Yorkie up front and add in Viduka to the bench
