Re: Saturday 13th Feb - away to Kaisayr
Pete says pitch is fine and will check again in morning. He's going to sort out food at the Ship Inn again for us too.
As Al says, info on first post. Who has the strips?!

Really bad roadworks from Falkirk till after Cumbernauld the now. Forty mile hour average speed too. No chance getting to Ayr in hour and half from Perth!

Re: Saturday 13th Feb - away to Kaisayr
There's a bridge over the river fourth I think, sure i saw it once
Pete has text me to say can everyone bring trainers tomorrow. He's checked the pitch and it's ok but as a precaution he's provisionally booked an astroturf. You have been told!
Nips is dropping the strips off to Rodgers tonight

Perth to Ayr via Edinburgh in an hour and half is even more impressive!

Never saw the Ayr boys in the pub, so we still owe then the money for the pitch.

Re: Saturday 13th Feb - away to Kaisayr
Cheers Beej. I text Pete but he never said if he got the money or not. Who has the kitty?
This one finished 5-2 to Ayr. Thought we gave a better account of ourselves than the scoreline maybe suggests. Unfortunately we didn't really relax until we were 5-1 down! We did play some very good football at times and like previous games with them we caused a lot of problems in the box with last ditch defending and good goal keeping kept it at 2.
Were maybe a bit too frustrated with each other in the first half. Guilty of it myself, but rather than worrying about each other we need to focus our frustration better. Using it to get ourselves going against the other team rather than bitching among ourselves. 2 scrappy goals before half time and 2 on the break just after were hard to take. But thought we were the better team for the last half hour. At 0-0 and later in the second half we had spells where we maybe deserved to score but unfortunately wasn't to be.
I've spoken to Nick. He is strapped up and on crutches at the moment. Scan on his knee tomorrow morning to try and find out exactly what the problem is - hopefully nothing too serious.
No game this Sat as Saints game is a 12.45 ko. Should be FPC at home the week after.
