  1. I watch intently the behaviour of police & officials towards FCU! In my opinion over the months they have been treated abysmally.. I haven't seen any behaviour which I thought has merited the over the top 'policing'. I would be the first to criticise if it was. I see young guys passionate about their team in what is a tribal game after all, so you would always expect interaction with the opposition, as long as it doesn't get out of control.. I never see police or officials so zealous when it comes to the old firm when their intervention is required! I will always support youngsters with a passion for our club... they are the future ;-) p.s as long as they don't tarnish the repution of our braw wee club

  2. We have picked up the same amount of points at home as bottom placed Hamilton but more points away from home than Dundee and Hearts combined which is astounding. 4th place should have been secured ages ago and now in the mix for 2nd or 3rd. Easy to see why home crowds are abysmal. Win at Hammy and would expect biggest home crowd of the season against the tarts.

https://www.channel4.com/news/scottish-referendum-snps-eilidh-whiteford This is an outrage! It's bad enough that the bbc keep asking questions, now channel 4 have started too. ....and not easy questions either! Questions informed by facts and knowledge.....Let's face it you can argue anything with facts and figures and knowledge ....why don't they all stop with the hard questions and climb aboard the bandwagon.....songs, flags no questions! It's all so emotional.....

  5. On the train back up to Glasgow after the yearly gambling frenzy that is the Cheltenham Festival. Left the B n B near Stroud at 9.30 this morning. Will get back to Comrie around 9.30 tonight. Long day, but we've had a great week. I'm a great fan of Jessie Harrington and Gordon Elliott, so I've made a few quid this week

  6. Going by Alba(if I am allowed) it has to be Liam. He covered every blade of grass & he was in his own box as much as theirs. For a veteran as he was described in the media he puts in some shift. I still remember what he did for us AFTER he signed a pre contract with Hibs & got us into Europe.

  7. Hamilton away is MASSIVE. Win that and we really could and should be thinking about retaining fourth with Hearts playing Celtic.

Sorry guys, I'm in the business of challenging nationalist fantasies, not facilitating them.

  12. Agreed. Was surprised to see three 14seater vans of cops and a wheen of Stewards at the away end entrance yesterday. Short of manpower??? My arse. Better deployment might help.

  15. There was one young lad who was met by 2 officers outside the ground who immediately cuffed him and carted him off.

  16. It's weird that our reserve goalie is 2nd/third choice for a half decent international side, when our first choice isn't even on Scotland's (a crap international side) radar (apparently). That's absolutely no criticism of young Zander, it's just weird.

  17. I'll take that.. A great 3 points from a performance that never quite reached last weeks highs. We were second to quite a few balls for long periods of the game and in the last 10 minutes we sat deeper than Loch Morar . I was screaming for the final whistle, especially after the lads header in the dying seconds came back off the inside of the post. I am hearing that Mannus may well have got something on it. The joy of seeing it stay out was heightened by the scenes in the Motherwell "Bois" section as they went mental celebrating a goal.. Great double by Liam Craig ( should have had a hat trick though ;-) ) Motherwell will play worse than that and win this season but today was a victory for grit and determination...Finally we move into 4th and now the place is ours to lose. I love my wee team.. Well done Saints.. PS. When did all in wrestling become allowable in Scottish Fitba. Some strange decisions by the ref once again. It should be no surprise of course as it happens pretty much every week. That said, we MAY have gotten away with one when I though Scobbie hauled one of their boys down in the box. Mind you as wrestling does seem permissible, phuck em.. COYS.

  18. DOn't tell me there's another bloody break coming up? Is it just my imagination or has this season been seriously disjointed? We never seem to get more than a few weeks in a row.

Thank you, Smarmy, that was very nice. As a result, I am going to be agonisingly pleasant to you until Monday. And I promise not to laugh at WAP's resident BNP-er jumping in to support you. It's not funny at all. Not laughing. At all. For a gag, I got all sorts of celebs, MP's etc she likes to send her cards. Even Corbyn scribbled something! I didn't know he could read...... She has a thing about Russia (we've been there a few times), the funniest thing she got was this letter from the Russian embassy.....

Anyway, my wonderful wife retired today. I asked the First Minister to send her a card. This is what she did, by return of post.
