  1. Hendry and Jackson could be a great partnership in that league. Arbroath put together a 14 minutes highlight package from home games!! I think Montrose, Forfar, Falkirk and East Fife all did something like that as well during the league cup group stage against us. Are we the only club in Scotland that does no highlights whatsoever for our own fans?

If you look at the recent posters in this thread you will see that numbers have gradually, over the last six years, reduced to only a small band of people who are apparently still concerned in seeing proper fair governance in Scottish football. Whilst most others appear to have moved on or, have given it up as a lost cause. Anyway I digress. 'south inch' It appears that the SFA are in touch with EUFA to obtain clarification of what is now considered to be a 'RED CARD' offence. So maybe the outrage expressed by countless Scottish fans at the inexplicable recent decisions concerning (yes you guessed it) the Ibrox club is at least making these people uneasy. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/what-red-card-rangers-steven-13234633

  3. At the risk of opening up this old argument again - if Celtic have sold out their allocation would it not make sense for Saints to provide them with an additional area of the stadium? Saints fans aren't going to sell out the rest of the ground after all, and it would surely be better giving the Celtic fans another allocated area than have them buy up tickets amongst the home fans.

  4. Yeah I am known for it but it is difficult to change the habit of a lifetime. Anyway there is nothing wrong with supporting 2 teams especially as it is diffucult to get a ST for Park head .

I see Steve Clarke has now been charged with complaining about the SFA appeals system. It reminds me of a scene from the old western "The Magnificent Seven" In it the Mexican bandit Calvera complains that he once robbed a bank in Texas and was chased by half the US cavalry for his trouble. He concludes "in Texas only Texans are allowed to rob banks". It seems in Scotland only Sevco are allowed to succeed with appeals to the SFA Judicial Panel.

  10. I think what many would have missed is that this announcement actually didn’t come from UEFA, but from the European Club Association (I think it’s called), made up of just the elite clubs, and there was just a token footnote to the effect that UEFA has to sign it off. There isn’t even a pretence now that UEFA are actually in charge, or that most clubs/countries in UEFA have any say at all in decision-making. How long will it be before the big clubs force through rule changes to suit them and the TV, like 4-quarter matches to allow more commercial breaks, no drawn matches, no obligation to give players to the national team etc. I don’t think there’s anything that’s going to stop this direction of travel, and indeed there is an argument that it’s not a bad thing. There are upsides for diddy countries and clubs, but getting cash to them will be the biggest issue.
