  1. I think he was on fire until that thug O’Dea at Dundee injured him, deliberately imo... he did enough to get a pay day at Castle Greyskull.. shouldn’t have underestimated the sectarian bile he was likely to get, but can’t blame him for trying to make the most of a short career. After that experience he probably thought the further away he got the better.. unfortunate he had a hamstring injury. I think he’s worth the chance, has pace something you can never have too much of! As for the Swanson comment, once he’s fully fit he can still do a turn for us.. 2 flare players .. what’s not to like about that! :-)

  2. I doubt MOH’s accountant would agree that he made a mistake by joining Rangers. Its a short career and he’s got a future to plan for.

    Michael O'Halloran

Not sure to be honest. I've always been a yes welcome him, but not in our current team who are doing great. Similar thought to Stevie May.. when we not as entertaining (aka last season, then sure sign em up). Has MoH actually had any form or a run of games since he left us? Think he made one shocker of a decision joining Rangers, did we ever get paid a transfer fee? Doubt he'll be as good as he was first time around. 50/50 undecided, but would by happy if he does sign, he just better start assisting and creating like he did all em years ago

  5. Not sure what player we would get as he does not seem to have played much football. Is he fit ?. The signing of Swanson hasn't worked out so far so Mikey might be the same and can we afford financially to take another chance.

  6. Agree about the extensions, and I don't think any of us could realistically complain if we don't bring anyone in, but why wait til summer to kick on? There are plenty of teams who can take points off each other in the top 8 positions, no one team has stood out over a sustained period of time, and we're only 8 points off the top team. A big ask, but if we put together another run like the excellent unbeaten run in Oct/Nov/ early December, we could well see ourselves where Kilmarnock are just now, only a point off the top spot. Or higher?!! Other than probably in the great Willie Ormond season in the early seventies when we eventually finished third, have we ever been this close to the league leaders in terms of points over halfway into a season? This could be as good an opportunity to have an absolutely stand out season as there will be.

  7. Is Aggie already in?

  8. It's difficult, with people like Robert Campbell or Willie Ormond not already in the hall of fame, to start looking objectively at more recent candidates. For me, a whole bunch of people should just be added now, otherwise we're going to spend the next ten years sorting them out, before getting to newer candidates.

  9. If we made 0 signings but managed to keep a lot of key players with contract extensions I would be happy. With them tied down can then build on this squad again in the summer and potentially be a bigger threat next year than what we already are

  10. Agree, the Swanson money was over and above, but maybe with Scougall potentially going, Nydham away and the likelihood of a relegation reduced then a bit of a freeing up of wages could happen. Of course though, if we want to offer new contracts to Watt, Kerr etc, you'd assume that would be more expensive. Unfortunately, despite the great football being played, the crowds haven't responded to give more cash.
