  2. Watched Polworth, ICT v RC last night no where near as good as anything we currently have. Struggling to understand why on last nights showing he would be considered an asset

    Taxi for Tommy?

Folk were moaning about the performances against Accies and Livingston after the break, so he can't really win. If he hadn't changed shape, he'd have been criticised too. Hearts played a back four, with Smith taking long throws, against Dundee a few days before they played us. The system we used was wrong on the day but, again, if he doesn't try to combat what he expects from them and we lose goals to them from set pieces or crosses again, he's criticised. Folk moan about not having a go at Celtic; you saw in the first 10 minutes of the second half yesterday what happens when you go 4-4-2 and press them. I was glad TW had a dig in his post-match interview about that. No manager gets it right all the time but thankfully we have one that does far more often than not. Also thankfully, most fans appreciate that I think and those that don't frankly wouldn't be happy with any manager we had, it's simply their (footballing perspective) nature.

  6. Who cares. Seriously. It's a joke. To take the OF games seriously is to think they are in the same league. They are not. One has 100M turnover v Saints 5m, and the other is bankrupt x 2, relying on dirty money in loans to sustain a ridiculous position in the league. Our team, our manager, our fans, our club are the real ****ing deal...................... MON THE SAINTS

    Murray Davidson

Said it for years and often criticized for it. We all know what Davidson brings. He's at his best in a tight scrappy game, but and it's a big but, his central midfield partner is often left with a huge amount of work to do in order to keep possession and start attacking phases of play from deeper positions. Murray regularly is nowhere to be seen when centre-backs or full-backs need an option when they are put under pressure (a job Millar did so well for us.). I will never doubt his commitment to the cause and his willingness to put his body on the line for the club, but it's often been the case we play better football on the eye when we have a couple of central midfielders that are willing to attempt a possession football game. (Millar and Dunne the prime example.) I'd like to see us give the duo of either Callachan and Goss or Craig a run of games moving forward. Depending on the game I think Watt could be a good option in the 10 and then MOH playing on the last man upfront (in the position Tommy said he has been signed to play in).
