Fair point. McLeish should certainly get his cards. We have 8 games left in this Group and there is no way we are going to improve on the play off place we already have in the bank. An excellent chance for a new management team to bed itself in without the need to organise the usual meaningless friendlies.

It is with sadness that I announce the passing away of Davy (soapy) Soutar , lifelong saintee who died on his 80th birthday on Friday 22nd March. For all who know there is a bus trip round Fife for young?? Soutar,s 50th on Saturday 30th March, this is still going ahead and will now be also a celebration of Soapy,s life. Anyone fancy a day out contact Caley Bar in Perth for tickets. I hear the song MY OLD MAN,S A DUSTMAN will trump the day.

Not quite the full story re Ferguson. When he was bleating to the Press how Saints had supposedly shafted him, he never once mentioned that he had knocked back the contract on offer before he got injured as he wanted more money. Ferguson is a player that I totally despise. If he hadn't been so greedy he would have had a signed contract to fall back on.

None of the above, need a good clear out along wae a few others, no sentiment they either want to play for Saints or they dont, they have got to start playing and show commitment.

Think this will be a good marker for what we can expect for the rest of the season. Win in some style and I reckon we could see a resurgent Saints swatting all before them for the rest of the season. Lose with the type of performance we've been seeing lately then the season is over.

Keep McLean and McCann and if Watt starts scoring keep him, bin the rest. No room for sentiment imo

Obviously as the sites most popular user it's my duty to visit and contribute. The Facebook page is horrific.

Nowadays real conversation is sparse on here and there aren't enough voices left to drown out the old boys club patter that derails most topics. That stops me checking frequently and definitely from contributing because there is little point. News breaks elsewhere long before it gets picked up here so the forum's value is not what it once was.

I look in most days. I gave up pie and bovril when I was diagnosed coeliac. Also gave up pie and bovril the site about the same time, through lack of time mostly.

I am afraid WAP is losing too many posters or disinterested posters. It may be because there isn't much happening & all these winter/international breaks. It may be that some may have to go to P&B but I don't like the site & to be honest there are only about 4 regular Saints posters on there as well.
