Felt the need to start a thread, as couldn't find one that discussed him. And the section that solely talks about what he achieved at Saints...

Our position in the league is not a given, we were for many years a div one club. I see being in the prem as a bonus, so with the contract thing he needs to get the right calbre of player, those who want to develop and remain at the club, not the in and out lot who come for a wage.

The trouble is Wright puts out a team that looks attacking but wingers are used as auxiliary defenders. That along with defensive midfielders who rarely get over the halfway line is not a winning combination. Killie at home are hard to beat & have a manager too good for Scottish football so we can't expect to beat them . its the manner of the defeat that bugs.

Gordon should have been in the team weeks ago. The fact that Wright can't see it sums up the position we are at the moment. Not the points we have on the board but the results since break.

I voted for him in the HoF nominations as well. I had never put two and two together regarding the Campbell Suite. I possibly thought it was named after one of the directors! That's a nice touch but he should have been the second man into the Hall of Fame and his omission to date reflects badly on Saints.

Won't be the last player pissing about with a Saints deal while head is turned in many directions apart from McD. He is now a free agent. Do not think you have misunderstood Random, Aberdeen are getting narked with the delays in their offer to Joe and are considering pulling the plug on it. If he comes back in to talk with Saints we should offer the very first deal offered in November on a take it or leave it 24 hour decision time. His play of late has not been good enough and in my opinion not captain material.
