I wish they'd get a move on, I've got him as first scorer in the prediction league for tomorrow night.

It’s my birthday. Mixed bag of presents - Stevie May, a cardigan, and Boris Johnson.

    Stevie Brown right now

This is the key in all this, hes had a few great years of money, settled more financially I hope, he loves saints, he has confidence at saints and the passionate lad just wants to get back to banging in some goals and being a fukin hero. We dont have high expectations here, but cant wait to see his face when he nets his first though. He could have been pushing for closure, as much as anyone, to get out of Aberdeen and avoid the loan scenario. Just fantastic all round by the club, by Wright, Broon, Stevie and Mr Vine apparently. I hope they market the hell out of this.

Steve Brown - doing a good job?

If anyone "does everything" then it is Paul Smith.

Steve Brown - doing a good job?

Going even further back I can remember when Saints' PR consisted of a billboard (borrowed from an Evening Telegraph seller) outside St Pauls saying "Match Off". If they were really making an effort it would say "Match Off - Snow".

McInnes confirms May has stayed in Scotland to "sort out some stuff" while the rest of their squad fly into Europe. Anyone fancy helping him move house?

Appears he was holding the paperwork in the wrong hand, which completely flummoxed the SFA.

Maybe stevie has plenty of pennies in the bank from his time down south knows he’s way down the pecking order at Aberdeen and won’t get much game time under del so gave up his next 2 years wage at Aberdeen to play football with the added bonus the team he loves

Incorrect, he vacated that role before the end of last season. No longer a General Manager in place. Stan who has recently retired from his full-time job has now stepped up his role a bit more at McDiarmid. He led the whole project to introduce the e-ticketing system for example.

If it was terminated no one did any buying out - the contract ends, Aberdeen cut their losses and Stevie May picks the offer that is best for him.

Everything you say here is correct. Kane works hard, always gives 100% and he cares. But as you say "he doesn't score many goals" and he is listed as a striker. Perhaps we should not give up on him yet, especially when there are guys like Swanson and McMillan ahead of him to be shown the door, if we sign a new striker as promised maybe we should use him as an impact sub when his pace could have more effect against tired defenders.

If we could play like the first 20 mins for the majority of the season we will be fine. Maybe a concern that heads dropped too much when we conceded the penalty. Their penalty was soft and Kane really should have put the one on one away. Small margins and while concerns there, equally, I genuinely don't think we are as bad as it may seem. A proper goal scorer on that pitch yesterday and we'd have won that game. Anderson looked rusty and maybe a year too many now, but could still do a job over the course of the season. Especially in the winter months when we need to dig deep. Yes, we are on the slide a bit, but did anyone expect anything else? We cannot compete financially and everyone else around us has got their act together financially, so the reality is that we are competing with Championship clubs and the bottom premier clubs for players. This dip was always going to happen at some point.
