  1. I get that , was just tryin to emphasise it wasn't just single figure thousands.
  2. Following saints over the decades has not cost hundreds of pounds it's not thousands of pounds it's way over £10,000 probably well over £20,000 and there are loads of fans spending that and more. I've never tried to count it up and every penny has been spent Following the team I love dearly. You can't put a price on the enjoyment it has been Following saints or the many memories created. Only 318 tickets sold and that includes some free under 12's. Browns statement is not going to make much difference it may even make things worse. They must already know what is happening with the Celtic game in February the fact they are saying nothing is very concerning. Saints need to put saints fans first. that is something that is sorely lacking just now and must be addressed.
  3. I think the FCU have been a big help and core home support sitting around 3,000. Cup games are special and always bring out more folk.
  4. Attendances this season: Hibs 5793, Abd 5871, St M 3640, Ross C 3355, Celtic 7093, Killine 3995, Rangers 7,487, Well 4055, Hearts 7058, Utd 7116, Livvy 2899 Celtic had 4505 tickets for the Saturday 12.30 game and Rangers slightly more for the Sunday noon game. Still a decent saints support at both old firm games. Attendances have been good this year up to Saturday, a lot of goodwill being undone and still silence from the club, who is in charge and what the heck is going on.
  5. Previous lowest this year was 3355 v Ross County
  6. You would think he would know that however i did think it strange though that he used the match being a Category A as part of the excuse. Category A is the least expensive of the 3 match categories where police presence is required. Category C old firm Derby type match is much more expensive to police.
  7. Monday mid day is when the priority period for season tickets holders to purchase ends. Sales to season ticket holders and other saints fans with a purchasing history will continue from mid day tomorrow. Saints to announce tomorrow how this will work.
  8. He and Geoff must be concerned about this and I hope he does not just spout the same stuff as Flahertys emails. Apart from not mentioning the retained 20% of gate receipts to cover match expenses he did not mention the £25,000 money from the SFA which we get if we do (and i hope we dont)get knocked out. East Stand should forever be Blue and White.
  9. Only 242 sold to season ticket holders, increasing by a paltry 10 per day. Home crowd will be the lowest in our entire history and yet still silence from the club. I love my club and the way this situation is being managed is beyond belief. I dont want to hear from Flaherty its time our Chairman came out of hiding, apologised for this crass decision and confirm that saints fans will never be moved out of the East Stand again. That might be enough to at least get a few more saints fans to attend.
  10. To compete with other teams our players need to give 100% of the best they have and be played in the best position they perform in. That's not happening and CD doesn't see it so we need a change of manager.
  11. Took Me a long time to vote, endless strange decisions , thanks CD but times up.
  12. Just gone through the 200 mark. We have approximately 1,900 season ticket holders in the East Stand and 500 in the main. Saints need to try and turn this round, the lack of a general statement is baffling. This should have been a money spinner . Biggest worry now is only 21 sold out of 1,000 in sections A and B saints bound to be considering allocating another 1,000 to Rangers . Cone on saints, you cant run a business by being silent and ignoring the fact that it looks like over 80% of our season ticket holders are not attending a home cup tie.You need to address this and at least try and get more saints fans in.
  13. 180 sold so far out of 2,400 season ticket holders, club really have fecked this up, stupid decision.
  14. Going to be around 8,000 paying customers so gate receipts around £200,000. According to P&B saints keep 20% of the receipts to pay for staging the match, That's around £40,000, plus our share of the balance minus small SFA payment and something for VAR. Presume we keep the car park and programme money and all the hospitality money. Sounds like a substantial pay day for us. If we are moved out again for the Celtic game in February the complaints will be huge . Saints need to come clean about future OF games or season ticket sales will suffer. There is a very good article in the Herald about the benefits St Mirren have enjoyed by restricting OF to just 1 stand. Saints could learn a lot from that stance.
  15. So no general statement, that's very disappointing , who made the decision to move us from the East Stand. We deserve to know.
  16. Last seasons Livingston v Ross County Scottish Cup tie pricing under 16's tickets were free as both clubs agreed to this.
  17. I was lucky enough to be at the saints rangers scottish cup 3 all game in 1981 and the replay. People still talk about the 3 all game regularly, the Scottish cup is magical to me. I won't be going to this game because I don't agree with what saints have done. Saints need to find a way to make the situation better and I hope we get through to the next round.
  18. Saints fans no matter how many should be in the East Stand for this game. Giving Rangers an additional advantage in a cup tie is so stupid it's almost unbelievable. Saints need to find a way to try and get the support back onside. I am not convinced the SFA rules would address Saints paying part of the ticket cost but maybe there is some regulation on that. Its not like a team giving free tickets which would reduce the pot overall which the SFA would not allow. The ticket cost is annoying but surerending the East on a cup game is beyond belief. If money is the issue we could have kept the East Stand for this game and in exchange for that the club could have asked us to move to the main stand for the Celtic game in February. We would then keep all the income from the East and if explained properly to the fans saints could have possibly kept the support on side.
  19. Saints can't reverse thus stupid decision but they could at least try to encourage more saints fans to go. Tickets are £30 and £20 it does not matter where the money comes from, nothing to stop saints paying £10 of each ticket with fans only paying £20 and £10. If we could get 2,000 saintees in the main stand the subsidy would be £20,000 however saints would get half the money back on the gate share. £10,000 would be a small price to pay for this cockup . Nog going to fix the move from the East Stand but might help a little. The team need our backing.
  20. 2 adults with 2 children cost £100 plus parking and food, there won't be many families there. Saints have made a stupid decision, all they can do us apologise but not sure that would happen.
  21. Callum Davidson in the paper today saying he is disappointed with this decision and would prefer to have saints fans in 2 stands. Well said Callum.
  22. St johnstone at home in Perth, saints fans should be allowed to sit in their normal seats.
  23. Could have been a full house if we had been allocated the Ormond stand and maximum £25 per ticket . We could have generated an atmosphere that way and we would have been able to better support our defence and attack for 45 mins each. Decent chance of a full house and much safer all being together at one end.
