He would never get a game every week anyway, Lomas is never consistent. -
I dont mind the spam to be honest, I love it when I see this thread up up top. Eternally hopefull.

Belle and Sebastian - The Blues are still Blue

Finishing second double figures ahead of third, then not going up in a delayed by a week or so series of games, when teams have only given contracts to players till the VERY last day of season (when every penny counts , and as happened in the leagues last season) makes it all a lottery and a rather embarassing shambles.

Cash not spent looks much better as a balance than the interest due on purchases...

McCracken IS Bombscare. Martin O'Neill made Bobo Balde a Champions League player and he was no better than Ando! Ando never pretends to be Messi. I am happy to see him slog it into row Z every week, (exactly what my old man used to say made John Greig a legend although he hated Rangers) and to be honest I think he is even madder than Wright and would have already ran through the brick wall before Wright arrived... Apart from Miller I dont like to cricise a Saintee but McCracken is boufin' and only really good enough to watch playing at centre half in a Dundde jersey... against us. Dave Mackay is worthy of his extension and the decison not to give Calum Davidson another year is a another weaknes Lomas has exposed.

Definitely best move for Mooner and all the best to him. All very well quoting figures re games played but under Lomas he had no chance.

Man Of Match Awards - Rnd 29 - Aberdeen (H)

Could have been Cregg, Wright or Vine for me but vote goes to Mackay. Great to see him get another two years on his contract and its the fact that he has that extra edge that he contributes goals that gets my vote. Wright put in a good shift as well and I felt he bailed out McCracken and had to point him in the right direction a few times. -
Not a classic but the wind had a big impact which probably didn't look too obvious on tv. No way we should be settling for anything less than a win at home to Aberdeen and a 3-1 win was probably deserved and we always looked the better team. Some decent displays in those difficult conditions. Defence were fairly solid, McCracken a bit shaky at times but they never really looked too stretched. It's always a delight to see Dave Mackay get a goal too. The new boy looked decent when he came on and has a first touch as well as looking pretty strong too. As well as Mackays the goals were good, including theirs! Well done Saints - decent 3 points.

try the Barcelona game;-)

He's still a feckin Saintee should be scoring for us!

Like many football clubs Saints have a poor grasp of their customers and still really think of them as fans, no more. Most football clubs operate as football clubs totally devoid to themselve that they are a basiness. Saints aren't quite Tesco but the way the supermarket kings track your every movement via the Tesco clubcard is one of the best examples in the world. They can lteraly tell when a woman gets pregnant by her purchases and start feeding her child based vouchers to ensure she doesnt go anywhere else even before a child is born! They then dictate everything you do after that on your spending simply via stats! Saints could consider a swipecard system or barcode the ST book vouchers but knowing customer (ST holders) trends is invaluable and the value of their data (even 2400) has a decent asset value which isnt being captured. There would be a cost to install but it can reap benifits. Not sure if this will help Saints know if any fans are pregnant though?

Ghostie only thing I would like them to sort out is the direct debit system. I have posted this before but it is a no brainer for a business and really is suicidal the way Saints do it at present. The letter through the door requiring ST holders to sign up again prompts the question whether to do it again? I pay for my golf on an ongoing DD, never need to sign up again and it's up to me to stop it. I couldn't even tell you how much it is. Past couple of years I have been last minute (both past the advertised deadline) signing up for season ticket and nearly didnt do it. in years gone by when there was a cluster of games because of weather, re-arranged ganes etc and it was Sat, Wed, Sat I missed a few games as it was costing a fortune at the time. Saints will definitely be losing ST holders every year yet stats show retention is held when the payer isn't given an easy opportunity to disconnenct - example being changing Elec, Gas or phone. It's guaranteed money out the door if they don't sort it...

Lets see if he makes an instant appearance wherever he turns up next?
