Just to add a bit to the discussion above, I can't comment or provide any details on perceived poor tactics or the work that goes in behind the scenes to address that but with regards the team looking unfit and not being worked hard enough. I've actually heard from a very good source that the problem we currently have is the complete opposite of this. There is far far too much emphasis on running and fitness training done at training to the point the players are at points absolutely exhausted by the end of the week. This has also been pointed out as a potential to the numerous niggling injuries we seem to keep picking up to key players.
Whether this is Levein's doing or whether this is Kirk's work ethic coming through I don't know. But players being knackered by the end of a weeks training doesn't seem to be ideal prep going into a game at the weekend. So where are the sport scientists then.

Not only did McInnes know about our midfield shape but he said to the media days before the game he knew how we would play and also mentioned the players he was dropping for the game to deal with it! Just insane we just carried on into it.
The manager assessment of the team, is that a damming report of all those that were on the bench? If he didn't want to replace those playing poorly then he must think the subs are even worse.
Think it's a daming inviting o himself

Was there not an old farm there before the Plough? I lived in Kingswell Place once upon a time, long, long ago and I thought I remembered it getting built in the mid 60s.

Levein confirming that Phillips is highly likely to leave here.
For those who can't access it, Levein basically says Phillips has told him he's planning on going and the article suggests a move to England or abroad is most likely.
We haud a chance tae haud on tae him but blew it .

If we stay up this season, I'm reasonably positive that we could be mid-table next year.
I think Levein has an eye for a player - Keltjens, Sidebar & Kimpioka have all been improvements on what we had before. Connor Smith is young and will develop. I think he can build a decent squad given the chance.
Presumably Gordon, Keltjens and Clark will get new contracts.
I would worry about offering Wright a new contract given his injury problems. Macpherson, Crawford, Carey, Gallacher, McGowan, Considine, Booth will be gone. Phillips has signed a pre-contract.
We'd presumably look to move on Kane, May & Brown
Robinson, DJ and Richards loans will be ending.
That's 15 senior players leaving. I'd say we'd be looking to cut down the squad, so bring in maybe 8.
Who has Philips signed fir ?

The average over the past decade for 11th is 36pts, so anything above that is where you aim. Ideally we get 3 wins from the next 8 games and that should be it.
But you gotta score goals
