  1. Not pretty and we aren't good enough, but as long as we win, I don't care. Need to make the semi. This could be our year I think, but most likely knocked out by rangers in semi if we do make it thru
  2. They don't say, but I'd assume it is to pay just this months wages and they wil limp to season ticket sales. Bit of a decision for the rangers 'fans' though. Do they pour more money in thru season tickets knowing that it will still probably end up in admin or do they force the issue and take their chances by withholding their dough? In my opinion, if they go into admin, they should be put right back down to 3rd and forced to be run properly and if they go bust again, never allowed back in.
  3. Yes only McCormack and Rhodes are starters for their clubs. I think all but Griffiths are better than May is currently, but you'd expect that at least 1 will pull out. I remember Tommy Burns whe he was a Scotland coach freely admitting that James McFadden increased his chances of bring called up purely be caused it SOUNDED better to have a player from Everton rather than Motherwell.
  4. Maybe the test should be that if they are claiming to be the same club etc, then HMRC should hit them with the tax bill that went unpaid and see if they still claim they are the same club then? Best description I have seen was that if my wife dies and I remarry, the new wife will also be called mrs yellowbox and may still live in the same house as the first etc, but it is an entirely different person.
  5. Will he be in the scotland squad announced tomorrow? I think not. Not because he isn't good enough, he plays for saints so won't get a call up.
  6. Given our recent goalkeeping, I'm going to go with jim butter in goal on a short term deal. Balavadge was keen, but he has got a groin strain.
  7. That in itself will give the players a lift. I think we might get something from this game. That said, we'll probably loose an early goal to commons
  8. Do we still have Joma for next season? If so, then no reason not to choose top now and get it in the shops before the summer holidays. I'd love to see the return of the tartan top, but even better would be as someone mentioned, white with tartan trimmings. An alternative, would be to continue our 'European' theme and go with maybe a Monaco design top (possibly rangers ruined this for all in scotland) or even go for hamburg colours?
  9. For me, Mackay and Anderson looked suspect all day. Our midfield had a lot of the ball, particularly in the first half, but all to often there is no one with that killer pass in them to create a real chance. Too many sideway passes too. Yesterday was a combination of us not really turning up and an average aberdeen team getting all the breaks. Yes tactically they were better than us, but often we are better than other teams. Yes we're all hurting, but days like yesterday are kind of what makes a saints fan a saints fan! Will make winning the Scottish cup this year seem all the sweeter.
  10. Wonder if he's anything like his uncle John? Decent player back in the early McD days.
  11. Iwelumo is a good player. One miss doesn't change that one bit. Maybe about older now, but I'd be happy with him. Good type of player for may to play with.
  12. Is that the last of them then? Did we give the rest to aberdeen or do we still get more if we need them?
  13. Probably because of Celtic fans. Clearly the authorities need to clamp down on the obvious political angles from saints and aberdeen fans! ;( Not like they have previous for ruining things for everyone else with their evil twin, booze at games etc. Was there money raised by fans for the display? Could it maybe be donated to the youth fund instead if there was? Also, has anyone asked saints for the big flag that sometimes is up in the north or ormond?
  14. Your right, but I think they got rid of the end bit, which I'd assume is n lower or equivalent. Were we not put there at tynecastle a few times?
  15. Not sure there is lower section at the end anymore. think they cleared it or most of it to make way for where they put the tv studio etc when games are on TV. Assume that section n is just 500 tickets? Can't realistically see us shifting more than that tbh.
  16. http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/index.php Roseburn sold out.
  17. Arguably those will never sell. Can't be many going on their own. Any adware on how many extra tickets we will get in main stand? Is it still the 1,700? How many did we sell for the last semi at tynecastle?
  18. So so. Wasn't a que or anything, but a few folk going in and out.
  19. Got mine today. Section m. I think that is the last section to go on sale, so must be doing ok in terms of filling roseburn. Anyone got an idea of numbers?
  20. The club are taking folks details, so to be honest, there isn't too much else they can do. Only solution would have been is to have a supporters database, but then what happens if you are a genuine saints fan who isn't on that. If there are aberdeen fans buying tickets, I doubt it will be many. People have been known to exaggerate ever so slightly on twitter. Plus, if we sell loads of tickets, just means saints will require the extra allocation, so ultimately it is the aberdeen fans who will loose out.
  21. That suggests we've sold quite a few. Only 5 sections, so if 3 sold out already (top half at least) then we must have shifted quite a few. Bearing in mind that they are not on 'general' sale yet.
  22. Cheers. I got at least 8 to get tomorrow, so should have no problem then.
  23. Any idea on the number of tickets sold now? Assume sections j,k and l are the middle 3 sections?
  24. Is this not just another indicator that the club needs some form of database of fans, not just season ticket holders? I fully accept and agree that one of the perks of having a season ticket is priority tickets, but there must me as many fans who don't have st's who go to games (clearly not all as often) who the club should know who they are for such occasions but also for direct marketing. I think the club have really stepped up recently and this should be the 'next step' For what it is worth, 5k will be enough for us, but my worry is sheep buying tickets.
