  1. I'm genuinely lost. We'd accept £0. The problem is making Sutton accept. I'd say it's highly likely (but not guaranteed) his deal at St. Mirren is less, and it's fairly likely well make a small contribution to that if there is a gap. I wouldn't expect it to be exactly the same as the difference though, which is where the first team football at one of the bigger non-spl clubs comes in.
  2. It picked up a little later on and iniesta was majestic, pique good too even before the goal. The first 30 were poor though and Morata wasn't really working out for me. Will be mildly interesting to see if his it's him or aduriz in next game, although I'd guess he'll keep his place
  3. Probably the dullest thirty mins in the tournament so far. Highlight being Spain's solo kick off
  4. Wow, I was thinking Shibbydoo had a really reasonable point there, but then you extrapolated his point far beyond the boundaries of what he could possibly have meant to show his logic doesn't apply in that particular situation, and now I just don't think I can take Shibbydoo seriously at all. What a fool he is!! Maybe Sutton wasn't earning that much, maybe he was. His prospective move to St. Mirren indicates precisely nothing either way given the numerous variables. Lappin is out of contract, so was earning nothing, so his move indicates nothing either.
  5. Fair enough - I did say that there was the possibility to have got the wrong end of the stick, so sorry for having done so.
  6. Shame but not a surprise - sits better than Carroll ahead of Mannus though.
  7. Even though his final ball wasn't always spot on I thoroughly enjoyed the cameo by that Emre Mor. £16 million transfer after 12 senior games. Looks like money well spent for Dortmund so far.
  8. Planning a fight? Little more embarassing than when someone on the internet is doing so. Admittedly not the only interpretation of your post though.
  9. My opinion the post you first replied to is that the England fans aren't going out there for actual genuine trouble. Just to participate in scummy deplorable behaviour in the guise of being patriotic football hooligans. The fact they've been largely allowed to do so unopposed without needing to properly fight for the 'right' to do so has led to them getting confused as to what it all means, and they dint see any problem in taking over an Irish pub with all their flags and singing racist songs all day and chucking a few bottles at police. I do fully believe all the video we have seen of them doing exactly that is shameful and each person pictured is a scumbag. Russian fans with balaclavas mouthguards and knuckle dusters is another level entirely though, one that 20y/o English 'hooligans' maybe forgot existed.
  10. I hope you didn't construe my comment as in any way longing for the old days or considering them in any way admirable. I dont even just mean the UK last was 'proper', but the difference is pretty clear if you look at any footage of the Russians last night. Maybe I'm confusing hooligans and ultras in a pedant's eyes, but the point is still valid, plenty of English youths will be waking up in marseille this morning with a revised notion of how hard they are
  11. Crazy scenes in marseille with organised Russian gangs attacking families. I made the mistake of looking on twitter though, and it's mind boggling how many are tweeting irate at the media for blaming English fans. Have the actions of English fans been anything like s bad as Russian fans have been tonight? No. But they've still be ****ing deplorable over the last three days
  12. I completely agree with chucking them both out. I'm fully of the opinion that thousands of lads and men will have headed to France purely to get steaming and act like total yobs. The gradual decline of proper hooligan culture has led to kids that are little more than jumped up little yobs (like some former posters here) to consider themselves proper hooligans in the absence of the real deal to compare themselves against. So they go to France act the big men, throw chairs at police, think they're hard. Then Russian proper hooligans turn up and literally murder them. I sometimes daydream about being able to painlessly euthanize said yobs with a click of the fingers, but even these bottle chuckers don't deserve to go to a footie tournament and not come back.
  13. Not sure what point you are trying to make? I'd have no qualms about instantly deporting any rapists or murders coming in, or putting measures in place to stop them. I just wish that we had somewhere to deport British scumbags to too. Voluntary emigrations to Greece have made some headway into the issue, but there are still thousands more than need punted. Sorry to dissappoint the little ****bois that liked your post.
  14. Switzerland v Albania doing a pretty good job just now of challenging the view that the group games will be a boring procession
  15. Daily Mail still doing it though. Also a humourous segment earlier where SSN cornered a poor french woman "Here we have a local who is pleased to confirm the violence wasn't as bad as report" Woman - Awful, very scary, awful "But its all okay now though?" Woman - yes but before was awful, scary "But nobody got hurt though?" Woman - no but was still awful and scary "There we go Jim, not as bad as reported, back to the studio"
  16. Doesn't really work as well for France as it did for Brazil and south Africa and Ukraine and Poland and all the other times it was used
  17. I've seen quite a few people mention wanting Wales and NI to do well but never republic. Is that personal preference of have I just missed out on some kind of Tartan Army edict? Personally I'd like ROI, NI, Wales, England to rank in that order for performance
  18. I'm not of the opinion there is anything too bad in the retweet, even though its not an opinion I at all share myself. Just left the other two non-related ones to show it was from his actual page. I only posted it because ScottMann said it didn't exist
  19. Whoever the kit sponsor is they must in place or nearly in place as the opportunity isn't listed on the available sponsorship page Saints just listed Storrar's seems likely based on their own page
  20. Cool edgy kids and their bloody memes.
  21. Back onto the topic of Paton rather than posters, Anyone want to start libel proceedings?
  22. Ah yes, the smell of hypocrisy... I won't comment on this nonsense again due to not wanting to clog up the forum, just wanted to remind everyone the extent to which you're a total fud.
  23. You're an absolute embarrassment to yourself. It's almost like Twitter enables you to delete or unretweet things eh?
  24. Shame about all those other league one players I've never heard of and therefore don't realise are people at all.
