  1. Twitter seems to think its jody morris Sam wallace from the independent, and lots of insider people congratulating jody (heard it here 2nd) Congratulations Jody, use those contacts!
  2. Jordan Tait and Nick McCoy would feature Dyron Daal, John Stewart,
  3. mcinnes denies hes training with us St. J unofficial twitter's words - not mine
  4. Why would only some of them not go until January? who would go before January? I'm confused
  5. A lot of disappointing performances but a few positives hidden in amongst them. I thought Finnigan tried really hard and challenged my idea that the signings made after him made him surplus to requirements, I don't think he played bad at all. Haber was dreadful with the ball at his feet, especially second half, but he also did win a lot of good headers against a Dunfermline defence who were also good in the air. On the ball he'd take 15 midget touches and still just be stood in front of the defender, made no attempt to beat them for speed, at least in 2nd half. Sandanza looked really good when he came on, and his desire was admirable in an otherwise halfhearted game, running over to the stand to collect the ball for the pen. However, Craig had the right to take it, and it wouldn't surprise me if the kafuffle put him off. I think Sandanza has the potential to make our season, he just has to make sure not to get too selfish or to irritate his lesser teammates! I think its true that Morris looked so bad because he had noone to pass to, we had 5 up front all in a static line, once they went down to ten we had absolutely zero invention other than sandanza. Moon was also disappointing but was similarly hampered. The back 2 were good, but need some practice on the ball, it was infuriating the amount of times we were trying to go forward and they were misplacing their passes behind our players, rather than just in front of them. Enckleman's kicking wasn't bad?? When (if ever) will mannus get his run? I doubt he came here to be 2nd fiddle, but theres been little evidence of enks needing replaced Today was beyond infuriating but I'm still not panicking about going down. but, First half we had only Craig on the left side of the pitch, that boy Jason Thompson was unmarked the entire first half, if he was even a semi-decent footballer he may have caused trouble. I was sat near the dugout and I don't think McIntyre went more than 5 mins without screaming at him to change his positon, wake up, or do his job better somehow, seems like he needed babysat through the game Sheridan is obviously a good enough player for St. Johnstone, if not better, but if he doesn't want to be here he might as well feck off and go play his playstation in Bulgaria
  6. Also he was impressive yesterday, only player in blue to show any invention at all. Only possible minus is there were times when he'd had enough of the shite around him and tried to do it alone
  7. Did anyone notice his shirt read "FSANDANZA" There was no full stop so I don't think it was meant as an initial either, looked more like a blooper, unless its something he always has and specially requested
  8. When I reposted Gartland's tweet I knew full well I was rumour-mongering though I did offer alternatives! sorry for any inconvenience caused. Unlike other people here, I'd be happy to see him stay, doubt we'd get many better back up players. Hopefully one day he can be more than that too. even the change of context doesn't make me like danny tho
  9. Garts6 Graham Gartland You don't mind if the door is held open for but its another thing to feel like your being pushed #realtalk Twitter perhaps showing that gartland might be getting sold against his will? Or it could just be someone is pushing him out of another door, maybe its raining and he doesn't want to bring in the washing. Grainger typed him some sad show of solidarity
  10. Some kind of Saints (unofficial ) twitter type thing what I'm following is talking about Del being in advanced negotiations with some players. Wonder who? I for one am finding it hard to even visualise someone new in a Saints kit. At risk of sounding like a St. Mirren fan I think money would be better spent on sorting out the surface than on new players, I think our current players aren't bad (although certainly on terrible form) but the pitch kills us. (and no I don't have an answer for why we are still crap away from home, or why other teams are ok at McD)
  11. Here in China praying that my shitey internet connection will allow me to watch the match as something better than in stop-motion, but its unlikely! Looking forward to seeing the saints play on a decent surface!
  12. Personally I think we should limit our manager to a choice of just 5 pre-approved answers to the press
  13. Despite his involvment in the goal I wasnt very impressed with Taylor, hes defintely got pace but doesn't seem to want to use it. There was a few times on the ball he drew the defender in close to him but then instead of knocking it past him and running after it he just watched as the opponent took it off him. Can only hope hell get better as he settles. Enjoyed seeing Haber who I think will be great, if occasionally infuriating. Think maybe the red prevented Dobie from getting a debut. Good stuff from Saints all in all!
