  1. Sorry that's predictive text for you ( tickets obviously) . Does anyone know how to cancel predictive text on Kindle Fire.
  2. We all moan about Penis Penis as a ref (and rightly so) but I see the ref who sent off the wrong player in the Chelsea v Arsenal last month has been given one of the FA cup semis!!!!
  3. Will we get a 50/50 split for THE all Tayside final?
  4. One consolation is that we wont get him for the final

Just a thought......... you say it is a poorly written headline, but could you translate one of Gordon Bannermans items from the PA into perfect Swedish?
  6. Before the split we have 2 very winnable games whereas Utd have 2 very loseable games.................. IF that happens we would only be 3 points behind them and still to play them, goal difference could well come into it so we really must go for it against Plastic Whistle and Killie.. I can see ICT not winning again this season so 5th is definitely possible 4th a wee bit harder lets just go for 3rd...
  7. something wrong with your arithmetic Edstar by your reckoning tickets only cost £1.50
  8. It is actually quite entertaining listening to chick the prick wetting himself.
  9. Although to be put out of Europe by such a shitty team as Minks is undoubtedly one of the low points of the season that whole evening still ranks as one of my highlights if that doesn't sound too stupid.
  10. Also the cup replay against Caledonian early 90s the North stand was well over capacity ( I think in fact Saints actually got fined by the SFA for that one) and other stands very close to capacity that night. Was there not also a problem against The Arabs when we played them in the 1st Division? Has the OS been updated since they put the new disabled area in the away end of the Main Stand? that took away about 30 seats
  11. Unfortunately I will not be there this will only be the 2nd time I have missed a semi final in all my years watching Saints. I will be somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean on my way back from Lanzarote I hopefully will get the last few minutes on arrival at Edinburgh Airport. Just do the business in my absence please.
  12. Never rated Billy Davies I always thought he was pretty useless as a manager.
  13. sorry about above post I seem to have combined my post and what I wanted to quote
  14. Get well soon Tommy.
  15. I don't know about 61/62 as I only moved to Perth in 1963. My father worked on the railway from then until he retired around about 89/90, he was a member of the RSAS club in Feus Road (sadly one of the few clubs still going in Perth.....as far as this exile can see)and the other railway club in Perth(whose official name escapes me) which was situated in St.Leonards Bank ie the other side of the railway line from where Tesco is now and quite a bit nearer the station. I do however think it is St.Leonards Bridge in the photo and that the present day signal box is where the turntable is in the picture.
  16. I did get bumped from "the auld Muirton Bairns" Facebook site for saying it was an ugly building in the wrong place and that it should be pulled down. And nothing has changed my mind about about what should happen to the City Hall.
  17. I was not at the game so the only evidence I can use is that provided by BBC and Youtube. From what I can see there the O'Halloran on El aliigui not a penalty, the Ryan Gauld appeal the referee played advantage he got his shot away (he duffed it....that's life) so therefore the Ref could not then take it back and give a free kick (note: free kick and not penalty as it was about a mile outside the penalty area), The Wotherspoon on GMS if I am being honest I would be raging if that was not given if it had been reversed but as I said above "that's life" get over it. Other than that I thought Allan Mannus was fantastic can SM claim that goal it should surely go down as an OG. Oh and Jackie Mac is almost as big an arse as Derek Adams. Finally Tommy was immense
  18. First ever Saints game 2-2 draw at parkhead 1969 I have been told the crowd (80,000?) that day is the biggest Saints have ever played in front of. First game at Muirton wasn't even a Saints game but Aberdeen v Killie semi final, good game lots of fighting on the terraces and a big crowd (24,000 ?) First Saints game at Muirton would have been after that in the same season but not sure which one.
