I have always thought that Saints and UHI (Perth Technical College for us auld folk) should get together and build something similar to Stirling Uni perhaps not quite as ambitious. There must be ground available from the Goodlyburn days.

Why not go for Gareth Bale, he doesn’t want to play for either Real Madrid or Spurs (where he was on loan last season) but does want to continue with Wales a biggish name like that could even boost the crowds when we are allowed back.

I was with my Dad who's gone now in 1969 when we lost the first of these and I thought time was running out for me - I can't tell you the pride I feel.

In fairness of the the 7 finals that Saints have played in (4 of which we won) in my lifetime there is only one I can say that I was disappointed afterwards (about the way we played)

We cannot finish higher than 5th and the only way 5th will qualify for Europe is if Hibs win the cup. I would therefore say on that basis that we should prioritise the cup. I would rather qualify for Europe through the cup as if  because if we get there through the league it would mean Hibs have won the cup.

To allow fans to see the Scottish Cup Final I don’t understand why the SFA can’t either.......

1) break the contract they have with themselves concerning the use o& Hampden  or

2) agree with UEFA to use the Scottish cup final as a test event for Euros or

3) move the final out with weegieland as both septic and sevco have said they don’t wish to host it (which they are perfectly entitled to do)

I would be happy to sit in any stadium in Scotland if I was given the chance to see Saints in a cup final (even ER for a Saints v Hibs final)

After watching all the games this weekend  I have to say that the two worst teams were playing in the only game that didn’t need penalties.

I did like what the Sunday Post did today, just left an almost blank page with an apology to fans saying Rangers* didn’t provide anyone for an interview.

Gary Neville on Sky Sports saying the only way to stop the unscrupulous owners messing with clubs is for the government to be involved. I thought there was pretty strict rules about governments meddling with football associations.
