Totally agree on the midfield, the biggest issue I could see on Saturday was absolutely zero interplay between defence and midfield. From goal kicks we were putting pressure on ourselves as we had two or three people passing at the back and nothing in front of them. No idea how everyone managed to hide so well. Airdrie showed how easy it is to pass and move through our whole team in three or four passes.

Unbelievable that he gets paid to play football, how long is he contracted for? 90 minutes of aimless football, causing ourselves all sorts of problems trying to play from the back. Not a single ball went through the middle of the park for us and we never looked like scoring. I won't be rushing back after my first game in a while. Gutless and clueless performance. Apart from winning cups we seem to be utterly rotten at them now.

Looking back it almost seems funny how it was always a mixed family stand. Was beautiful in 98/99 we beat them twice in Perth, I enjoyed those days in the Ormond. Wasn't always that great.

Courier article said it was chicken pox but has all cleared up now. As mentioned above it is only shingles in an adult if they have previously had chicken pox, so maybe he never had it or used the wrong term.
