What an incredibly awful report. They have him as a County player twice as well as saying "Victory means that Saints move level with a blunt County on points, while leapfrogging Livingston on goal difference." Their league table has us a point above both.
Has this season been exceptionally tough on the fixture front? Getting dumped out of the cup hasn't helped but the run at the start was brutal and its been stop start ever since.
Unfortunately this totally disappeared from the start of the second half up until the last 5 or 10 minutes and looked just like the clueless lumbering of past reigns.
We have been really start/stop with a run of games recently but they were far more fired up after half time and we didn't start playing again until the 80th minute!
Very poor second half. We offer nothing on the ball just passing and leaving people isolated with no one looking for the ball, just need to hope we can continue scoring set pieces.
"I want to have another go at it, throw the dice and see if, in the latter stages of my career, I can make a difference to St Johnstone and get them up the league."
I'm sure that's not how he sold himself in the interview, surely?
Having only the highlights to watch the Killie goal is really disappointing and something that has haunted us all season - a free player in the middle of our box with all the time in the world. Sounds like it was the only real defensive blip though.
Oh boy: "Former Scotland striker Kenny Miller reckons St Johnstone should target Neil McCann as their next manager and says Scott Brown is "a good shout"".
According to Callum Davidson, Tommy Wright worked some form of unheard of miracle:
"It's very hard for a so called smaller team to have success then hold on to their players and have continuity. It's a small league and it's a tough league. Hopefully they can bounce back and move up the league."
Martindale has had a rather poor last year, I can't imagine he would do the job required. I do know a few Livi fans that would be delighted to get rid of him.
Got to wonder, would we be in this mess if Geoff was around before this season? I do think he would have cleared Davidson and Co out long before Steve and not appointed Macca.
