  1. Number 32 at his most recent club, eh? Interesting.
  2. If the home leg takes place on the 12th, it certainly shouldn’t be seen as a ‘result’ if we’re only allowed 3000. Restrictions on crowds are currently planned to be lifted on the 9th, are they not?
  3. He says that he'd consider it before the end of his career. Considering his age and contract situation, I don't see why that would necessarily equate to him leaving after this upcoming season. He's still got a good few years ahead of him.
  4. Wouldn’t say this is particularly disconcerting in itself. We need a replacement for Tanser (Devine), we need a second-choice RB (Brown) and we need a back-up CB in case one of the back three gets injured at any point (Muller). Not saying that our defence isn’t about to get ripped apart, but these signings aren’t an indication of that.
  5. It was £2m, and yes, we took it. Celtic were the only top-tier club who didn’t.
  6. No, the point is that you said there was a two-year age gap between Kerr and Gordon, got corrected by someone who accurately stated that there's only a one-year age gap between them, before you responded by saying '2 years difference is a lot'. I'm not arguing about their respective qualities.
  7. Did you read the post that you just replied to?
  8. Danny Swanson got 10 in the 2016/17 season.
  9. I'd probably offer a fiver. Furlough hasn't been kind to me.
  10. Why, thank you! I appreciate that. I’m just glad that the people who were initially wanting an upbeat song in 2014 have got one this time around. I think the occasion calls for it and it’s a very catchy tune. And a couple of excellent performances from the Hellers in the video.
  11. Yeah, RG's link should take you there (it's currently on the page of a different 'The Shrugs', but hopefully that's amended soon!). As of this week, Fair Maid is also available to stream on Spotify. Anyway, really enjoying this year's song. Great fun.
  12. No, the loser of the EL play-offs would go straight into the group stages of the Conference League. The loser of EL Q3 would go into the Conference League play-offs. It's being reported on various news websites today. The Sun and the Scotsman are two I've seen already.
  13. And if we lose in EL Q3, we’d go into the Conference League play-offs. So we still give ourselves a fighting chance of securing that windfall if we win the cup. Just have to work a bit harder and win one of those ties to secure European football until December (or hope for a Chelsea win in the CL final).
  14. Yeah, this is a much higher-stakes match than any cup game we've played before, so I'm feeling more nervous about it despite an absence of the usual public 'buzz' in the week prior. A win could be a game-changer for us, giving us a big opportunity to progress and become even more competitive in future seasons.
  15. Well, it's just been confirmed that it's Covid-related by Eric Nicolson on Twitter. No panic stations here yet. Just seemed the likeliest scenario.
  16. Yeah, it makes sense for Gordon to be out. It would be extremely bad luck for a further three players (Clark, McCann and O'Halloran) to have picked up injuries in the last three days though. That's why I suspect Covid has maybe played its part again. Hopefully not.
  17. There would be absolutely no reason to play people out of position (presumably Rooney is in the centre of defence tonight) or not have a full bench unless something has gone wrong. Looks like a further Covid outbreak to me.
  18. That’s true enough, but I’m just feeling overly cautious about that situation. If Livi were to finish 5th, I wouldn’t be overly surprised if they launched a successful appeal. So I’m still seeing it from the perspective of 5th guaranteeing it beyond any doubt.
  19. Yes, indeed. 5th place guarantees Europe, albeit at an earlier stage of qualifiers than it would be for winning the cup. A cup win would guarantee European football until December.
  20. No he isn’t. He has only played for us in this tournament.
  21. I wonder who that analysis guy is. Excellent content.
  22. It was a a B-team because it was made up of predominantly second-string players. Not sure I understand your question. We have seen a number of Saints teams that will beat them, and arguably more comfortably than yesterday’s team. No idea why we’d field a weakened team if we reach the final and play against Hibs.
  23. I am indeed! I'll go with Spoony, I think.
