Performance wasnt that bad, I thought.
When you remember only Rangers and Aberdeen have scored and taken points at that ground, and theyve now played every club at home, then it hopefully puts some perspective to things.
Livingston took the best chance of the match, while we got denied a stonewall penalty and MOH missed what was virtually an open goal. A different day we draw that, or win it, and everyone in here is raving about how great a result it is.
May was fine as a lone striker, he set up a MOH chance and generally held the ball up well. Issue was the midfield, only O'Halloran seemed to get near him when he did have the ball, but again, we did have chances in this set up so if we win theres almost no complaints.
Even game, settled by them taking their chance while we missed ours. Just one of those games.

No real surprises there really. I think we all knew we had seen the last of Danny.
A win puts us within 2 points of Livi but would probably be happy with point at a difficult venue.

I dont doubt some of them are/were Saints fans.
I do doubt that majority weren't just kids who couldnt support a lower tier side who hid behind Saints until Rangers made it to the top flight.

You still dont see the "coincidence" in the majority of the FCU vanishing the exact same season Rangers win promotion to the top flight?

Less than 2000 home fans at the game today, second lowest home support of the season.
Against a team we havent played in around 5 years, with reduced admission prices...
Further evidence against these fans that stay away but would return if "we didnt play the same teams all the time and didnt pay a fortune for it". Wonder what their excuse will be for not going today?

Sort of comfortable game, I think. Got the early goal, then the lack of game time seemed to harm us as no real fluency to anything.
Morton came out flying in the second half, did nothing, Saints got on top, scored straight away. Game over.
May's finish for the goal was absolute quality. Outpaced the defenders on the halfway line, controls a ball over his shoulder, continues to outpace the defence and then dinks the ball over the keeper with his weak foot. The quality is still there, hopefully the missing confidence can return with finishes like that.

Dont have much of a problem with Kennedy going to Aberdeen and getting more dosh etc. Can't see us letting him go at this time of the season as I very much doubt Aberdeen would offer us much cash/players to get the deal done.
As for Hearts, we would be mad to let him go there before the end of the season, regardless of what they may offer. Why would we strengthen a relegation rival by allowing them to take our most in-form player and potentially giving us one their worst performing players.
Hearts will probably get themselves out of the hole they are in, but we don't need to be helping them.
Not against us going for Berra. Not as a first team player, but perhaps someone who can fill a spot for injury/suspension and potentially some sort of coaching role so that the likes of Duffy and Tanser learn to defend properly. Ralston comes into that bracket as well, but I don't see him being here long-term.
