Despite all that the crowds havent risen, the income hasnt risen, and the on field performances are dipping.
A well run club would've built on those foundations and pushed on more, Saints seem happy to assume the same old would continue to work, and we're now being left behind by the likes of Motherwell.

We've already failed to sign Ambrose. Jack Hendry is an horrendous footballer, as bad as Ralston. Chris Samba has played 8 minutes of football since December 2017.
Marc Wilson I've no idea about, theres alarm bells than an experienced International is on the scrapheap at 32 though.

Folk writing off and piling into a young guy who's still recovering mentally from two career ending injuries, likely the same folk booing the team at 0-0 yesterday.
Never happier than when Saints are shite.

Hibs unlucky not to win by more, can only assume they took pity on us in the final ten minutes.
Missed the game until the first goal, which literally went in as soon as I walked in and saw the game. After that we looked like we were struggling to cope with the diamond, Wotherspoon had absolutely no idea where he was playing so was being dragged all over the shop. Thought we got a grip of things when we switched to the diamond ourselves, started to hold the ball and build attacks, Wright and Kennedy both causing problems. Still in with a chance if we can score the next goal.
Then the manager loses the ****ing plot. Takes off Wright, chucks on Hendry, and effectively leaves the midfield 3 playing against 5. Hibs take advantage of the absolute swathes of space that one of their players always have in the middle.
TW decides to make that issue even worse by putting O'Halloran into mix, and Hibs are then able to simply cruise to victory.
Defence is soft as shite, and I'm convinced, and have been convinced all season, theyll relegate us, but TW has to take a massive slab of the blame there. Hes the one who's been so obsessed with getting another job hes desperately tried to prove all the "anti-football manager who only plays pensioners" crowd wrong that hes absolutely ****ed us this season by building this meek, pathetic, rag tag group of kid defenders. I've genuinely no idea what he expected to achieve with the half time changes.
Only benefits are he'll maybe have, finally, learned his lesson that attack isnt the best form of defence, theres absolutely no chance he'll be getting the Northern Ireland job if that's what hes serving up, and May scored the type of goal which suggests all is not lost for him.
At least we can't lose next weekend.

We'll have the same issue we had this Summer. Who's going to take them?
Vihmann should be easy to get rid of, the rest might need released, which costs money which defeat the whole point.

Of course we need a 3rd choice keeper ffs.
We're a top flight side with millions in the bank, a top 8 finish brings in over a million on it's on, folk are speaking as if we're a pub team reliant on 50 fans every second week.

    Why wouldnt you be?
We'll play two up front every week once he leaves, and wont be afraid of the Old Firm anymore. Probably play youngsters too instead of pensioners.

The clubs voted for it didnt they? It certainly wasnt enforced on them.
Sure it was to give the pitches, and players, a break, and also to let fans have a break from paying for games so close after Christmas/New Year.
The break isnt the issue, the new International calendar which has them playing virtually every month is far worse.

Shanklands wage is widely reported as the largest they've had since they signed McInnes straight from the EPL.
Either way, its beyond what we could spend on a second tier striker.

I think they key to Kane is knowing when to use him.
Defending a lead and needing a striker to come on, hold the ball up and harry defenders, and hes our best striker at it. If we're chasing a goal I'd be happier to see Hendry come on.
May remains our best striker though, him not winning headers against the likes of Berra doesnt change that.

Worth watching the goal back, as it's his first time, reverse pass, to Muzz that brings about the corner.
Can we give May more than 4 games before we write him off pls? And can we give him and Kennedy more than 120 minutes as a partnership before we start saying they dont work and they're both shite?
