RandomGuy got a reaction from Havana Saint in Scottish cup fourth round Jan 18th/19th.
Sort of comfortable game, I think. Got the early goal, then the lack of game time seemed to harm us as no real fluency to anything.
Morton came out flying in the second half, did nothing, Saints got on top, scored straight away. Game over.
May's finish for the goal was absolute quality. Outpaced the defenders on the halfway line, controls a ball over his shoulder, continues to outpace the defence and then dinks the ball over the keeper with his weak foot. The quality is still there, hopefully the missing confidence can return with finishes like that.

In other news, Record reporting Ross Callachan will join Dundee on loan, should be done before the weekend.

Dont have much of a problem with Kennedy going to Aberdeen and getting more dosh etc. Can't see us letting him go at this time of the season as I very much doubt Aberdeen would offer us much cash/players to get the deal done.
As for Hearts, we would be mad to let him go there before the end of the season, regardless of what they may offer. Why would we strengthen a relegation rival by allowing them to take our most in-form player and potentially giving us one their worst performing players.
Hearts will probably get themselves out of the hole they are in, but we don't need to be helping them.
Not against us going for Berra. Not as a first team player, but perhaps someone who can fill a spot for injury/suspension and potentially some sort of coaching role so that the likes of Duffy and Tanser learn to defend properly. Ralston comes into that bracket as well, but I don't see him being here long-term.

Their owner is a multi-millionaire who's ploughed money into them for the past 4 seasons much like Ross County and Roy MacGregor.
They simply spend the money they want to spend then he writes it off.

    Cash reserves - £2.1m
    Creditors - £844k
    Debtors - £209k
See you've already found it, sorry. I'm sure £1.6m still puts us in the top 4 clubs in term of real money. But I cant find the graph showing all the figures again.

Its not, half that and we'd still be fine. Its purpose is to cover the million pound loss relegation brings for a season or two so we're not like ICT, who had to cull the majority of their squad and bring in absolute jobbers for pennies just to break even and who'd be absolutely ****ed if their manager wasn't able to make gold from shite.
Is it better to use a quarter of that to fight off relegation, or sit on the full amount and see it whittled down within 2 years upon relegation?

Its affected us financially. I'm sure one of the accounts in the past few years claimed it cost the club around £400k in "commercial activities" while the construction was ongoing.
That's a huge amount of money, and when you're getting less than 1500 home fans, and spreading them across two stands which can both hold over 3000, it makes very little sense to continue that.

Yes, let's loan out our third highest scorer, and second highest scoring striker, to a part time side in the 3rd tier.
    A tremendous idea.

With the knowledge that, one way or another, Swansons wage is off the books come May, we'll surely be wise to move some of that towards Kennedy.

Absolutely dominated, one of those games really.
Vigurs shouldn't even have been on the park when he scored, already booked and lunges in late, get somehow that's not a booking these days.
You'll struggle to ever see a more incompetent showing from a referee than that. Abysmal.

Worth mentioning, with half the season officially now gone, that only Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen have actually lost less league games so far.
    Football is weird as ****.

Can start to think about those above us, rather than below, now.
A loss against County could put us right back in the mixed though, believe we're 11th in the "Home" table this season.

Absolutely dreadful game. We seemed happy to sit in and take a clean sheet and point from the start. St Mirren too shite to break us down. MOH hit the keeper when clean through a d that was the only real chance for either side.
Massive game on boxing day now.
