  1. First chance I've had to see a game in months and it was absolutely dire. Croft got plus points for showing some endeavor on the wing. What an enigma Hasselbaink is. Some of his first touches are sublime - but the number of times he gets the ball and is easily dispossessed, leading to an easy breakaway is unbelievable. The County goal was a peach, but two players were so easily skinned it was a joke. Someone was asking earlier when we last equalised - that's a good point. It points to us being an extremely one-dimensional team in that others are so easily able to shut us out of games. This is tactical naivety on the management side at best. Certainly we never looked like scoring a goal tonight, against a team who had a goal difference of -17. That's twice that County have shut us out this season - they must wish they could play us every week - we're keeping them up, having gifted them an easy 6 points. Poor poor show, and not one that'll have many fans rushing back to McD. You just have to look at the way McInnes has taken a grip of what was a very poor Aberdeen side to see what potential there has been to bring back fans. We may never have the pulling potential of Aberdeen, but 2200 fans in on a Saturday evening tells a sad story.
  2. Deserved win for County, totally bossed the game with complete ease. Absolutely clueless performance from Saints. Manager has some serious questions to answer.
  3. Meet the New Boss Same as the Old Boss. Fooled again?
  4. The whole debacle is a real shame. I used to like Ross County, but this whole thing has shown them to be underhand, liars and unsporting. Down with this sort of thing!
  5. Fifa certainly seem to think PCAs are binding: The legal take on matters: http://www.jcpsolicitors.co.uk/news/sport-and-law-pre-contract-arrangements Seems to depend on wordings. And how two "non-innocent" parties paid up: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1248554/Chelsea-transfer-ban-lifted-Lens-accept-1m-Gael-Kakuta-row.html
  6. Welcome result, but what a dire game!
  7. With Tade in the team it's like having 10 v 10 anyway.
  8. I think that game could adequately sum up our whole season. Get into a position where we are promising so much, then throw it away. Plus, Brittain screws us.
  9. This whole fiasco was akin to the guys working from the back of a van, saying "Who'll give me a tenner for what is in this box? You don't get to see what's in the box." The fans, rightly, have no trust in the bosses of Scottish Football's various bodies. I'm glad that two clubs voted against this. Although their motives may well have been selfish, and even if they are completely wrong, it shows exactly what has been wrong with the voting system all along. SPL, hoist by their own petard.
  10. Pretty much sums up our season. Another good performance - played well enough in both games this week to have taken 6 points and we've come away with 2. With a decent strikeforce we'd have had a great season, probably finishing second easily. Very frustrated again with the play in the final third. I've said it before and been lambasted, but a poor set of strikers have cost us a chance of Europe.
  11. Feckin' hell Saints! The most deserved late late late point in the history of points! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas!
  12. Unbelievable defending from Utd. Sucker punch o' clock? I was going to go for a run tonight, but there's no way my heart-rate would get faster then this.
  13. Playing well until the final third, then.....nothing. C'mon Saints!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Have we got too many hoodoos to overcome? Bogey team United. Can't seem to get a win against teams with new rookie managers. Plus we never make things easy for ourselves (afraid of heights, bottlers my United mates like to say). Play is very even so far, not panicking, playing good football, just no penetration up front. 'mon the Saints!
  15. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21763900 Scottish Football League clubs are being asked to consider allowing 'colt teams' from Celtic and Rangers to join a new four division set-up. Chief executive David Longmuir suggests in a document sent to all 30 SFL outfits that the colts would operate separately from the 'parent' clubs. He is influenced by the prospect of the Old Firm leaving Scotland behind. And he says "both clubs have intimated their desire to be considered as part of this strategy".
