I didn't think we were that bad in the first half........ We created 2 or 3 clear cut chances and limited killie to a trundler from 25 yards. The boos totally baffled me.

And that trumpet with the banner? What a tosser. Top six with 2000 mainly moaning home fans who show very little support for the team. Dare I say it, we probably are punching above our weight! All credit to the board, coaching staff and players.

Really tragic news. He was diagnosed with Leukemia whilst mourning a friend of his own, around two years ago. Seemed to be doing fine until around 4 months ago and was in and out of hospital. Despite his illness, this news has come as a shock to everyone who knew him. One of the nicest, most humble guys you could meet and a talented left-footer to boot.

For those of you who didn't know him or know of him, he was a Perth born lad, attended St Johns PS and St Columba's High before leaving to join Saints. Always proud to follow his old man in supporting Kilmarnock but wasn't adverse to coming along to Saints games, even before he made his ties with the club. His old man founded Perth Killie as a football team for Darren and his mates, and it quickly grew into a well known name in Perth.

When I was younger it always felt like a privilege to play football with him but now I feel more privileged to have known him. My thoughts are with his family and all of those who lost a friend at the weekend

it is the daily retard! Everything they print is true! More fool the fans believing this. The retard says he wants to move in summer but signed a two year deal.. Shyt editing! In a quote the retard says he is going to quit half way through is contract. Read what you want into this? Utter waste of paper, Not even fit to wrap your chips with!
Nigel is a great player. He is more effective from the start and needs a run of games. Coming on as sub is not ideal situation for him at the moment. He has the ability to turn a game around when he runs with pace and skill at defenders. He still has an important role to play for us.

I was right behind this and there was definately contact, Pawlett was entitled to go down and I don't know why he is being made to look like the bad guy. If you look at the Dundee defender he thinks the ref has given a penalty.

I thought the amount of police / stewards in the family stand was a bit over top today. I counted at least 10 fluorescent jackets for most of the time. Was it the kids or parents they were expecting trouble from?

I would go easy on Big Dave. I was fuming in the standwith what happened, so to be on the pitch and see a team take advantage of the situation was a disgrace. The ref didn't control the game at this stage well and should have indicated that the ball should have been sent back through to Mannus. If he had, the situation would not have got so volatile. That having been said, Hibs were unsporting in the extreme.

A disgrace that their player never went anywhere near Robertson after the challenge. We played really well. No complaints from me. Just anger towards Griffiths and Co.

That's two games in a row at home that we've absolutely battered the opposition, but have only managed one goal and one point where we should have come away with six.

We controlled the game in the first 45 - it was all played in Hibs' half - without creating too many great chances. That said, we hit the bar (a Hibs defender has to take credit for getting the slightest of nicks on the ball on the way through, otherwise it was in the top bag) and Maclean was only denied by a great block.

In the second we had two decent early chances before Hibs had 5-10 minutes of decent pressure without creating anything in front of goal - we just dropped really deep for a short spell. Even at that point Hibs failed to get Griffiths or Doyle involved in the game, and it wasn't a surprise when Doyle went off.

Then it turned back in our favour and we really should have buried it in that period. Maclean had a great chance but Williams telegraphed his shot and got down quickly to save in the corner, as well as making another couple of reasonable save. Then he made a decent save from the penalty and an absolutely outstanding save from Liam Craig's follow up.

Don't really recall how Hibs' goal came about, but I seem to remember it being a moment of them going a lot more direct than they had at any other point in the game. Cairney got through the middle and got a shot away under pressure. Need to see it again but I think Mannus probably should have done better and it trickled into the net. It was the only time he was really called into action at all and unfortunately, unlike Ben Williams, he didn't deliver.

Even after that we should have scored - Frazer Wright got a free header for a corner and bulleted it towards the net - only for it to cannon off what looked like the back or side of a defender's head. You kind of knew the game was a bogey at that stage, nothing was going for us.

Then came the controversy of the night. Craig Thompson had tried his best to make himself the centre of attention all night, with a string of bizarre decisions against both sides and a complete lack of common sense or consistency.

David Robertson was badly injured in a fairly innocuous tackle, and a bounce up was given. Leigh Griffiths had the ball dropped to him, but instead of knocking it back to the keeper he smashed it off of Steven Anderson's legs and chased down the loose ball. It was a pretty disgraceful bit of behaviour from him in the first place and showed a complete lack of sportsmanship.

Understandably that upset the Saints team, who saw their mate go off with a bad injury and Griffiths subsequently acting like a dick and trying to capitalise by not giving the ball back in the usual manner.

When play stopped Mackay and Griffiths exchanged words. Griffiths then squared up to Mackay, and stuck his head into Mackay. Mackay, unfortunately, replied in kind.

Even more unfortunately, Thompson only seemed to see Mackay's action and sent him straight off. Both should have walked. I'll need to see it again, but frankly it looked to me like Mackay can't really be excused - he shouldn't have reacted. But he reacted to Griffiths adopting an aggressive stance and sticking his head into Mackay.

Amazingly, Griffiths didn't even get a talking to and was instantly subbed to stop further incident.

Craig Thompson, of course, could have saved all this hassle by pulling it back when Griffiths booted it off of Anderson and retaking the bounce up. Would have saved all the hassle. I had read a couple of weeks back that Griffiths had grown up and wasn't getting involved in stupid incidents any more, but he completely caused that tonight in a game where he'd really had an off night.

In terms of the result, we were probably more dominant tonight than we were against Ross County a fortnight ago, another game we should have won comfortably. At least then we came out with a draw. We're still conceding daft goals - that's yet another game without a clean sheet - which wouldn't be so bad if we were converting at least some of our chances. We had at least a dozen corners tonight, but only one was dangerous, and that was more because Hibs completely lost Frazer Wright than any good delivery.

Really disappointing night, we need to push on in the next few weeks really.

My brother in law took me to see Wimbledon versus Scunthorpe in 1978 when I was 8, second game I ever went to (Alan Cork has curly hair and a tache!), supported them ever since. My late father who did not even like football took me to games and had some of my happiest memories of time spent with him at Plough Lane, followed them all the way through the leagues, was at Wembley for the Cup Final and my friend got me seats for the Directors box for my 18th birthday after which I met most of the players, Beasant, Fash, Dennis Wise etc. Also went to school with Bobby Gould's son. Was totally devastated when the owners moved the club to Milton Keynes and have followed AFC ever since even though I now live in Perthshire and have adopted the Saints as my Scottish team and go to pretty much every home game with my two sons who have got the bug. My oldest bought me an AFC Wimbledon Keep the Faith T shirt last Xmas.

What happened should never have been allowed, is still the only organisation I have made a financial investment in (when I really could not afford it and have never received a penny back). I have very mixed feelings about the game with MK, can completely understand fans wishing to boycott as could be perceived as legitimising the fake Dons, on the other hand really would love to get one over on them and team could do with the support as having seen the York game the other day will start as massive underdogs.

Great to see the link with the past currently in place with Ardley as manager and Sullivan in goal. The memories of the various bloody noses given to big teams during the 80's and 90's still make me smile to this day, I was at Plough Lane for one of Ferguson's first games in charge of Man Utd when a certain Vinny Jones scored the winner on his home debut.

Urge all Saints fans to get behind the real Dons for this game. Just imagine if the club was moved to Edinburgh or Glasgow with no consideration of the impact on the local community.

Another poor crowd yesterday but folk have found other stuff to do on a Saturday and with all the football on tv it has killed it for most people.
I for one have always followed the club(bar a while when I could nt )no matter how they play and this is one of the best periods I can remember in the clubs history. Its a shame so many stay away but there have been several times fans have flooded back only to be let down and have nt returned. They are the ones missing out.
I cant wait to see both our teams at the moment as they are playing some fantastic stuff with both the u-20's and first team riding high in both of their respective leagues.
A great time to be a Sainteee.
