The amount of shite housing regarding ticket's across social media amongst Saints fans is sickening, a few arguments already of who deserves to be at the game and who doesn't, kinda my dicks bigger than your d*** type posts.
This is just my opinion on the matter, like everyone I'd love to be there at the game but this really isn't going to be an option for us all. Football for me isn't JUST about what's happening on the pitch (though it's a bonus) it's sharing days like this with your family and friends, the whole build up, the planning of the actual day out and of course sharing the emotions as the game unfolds. It's obvious just how monumental this game is but due to the circumstances I'd rather be sharing this day in a pub/beer garden etc with a bunch of folk I've known for many many years and like me have been on the St Johnstone roller coaster throughout that time. It's really just a sad part of how life is at the moment surrounding the pandemic
As stated just my opinion, good luck to whoever gets a ticket though.

Surely if you call yourself a Saints fan then you want the identities kept under wraps until the team lines are out on Sunday. Otherwise Goodwin can plan accordingly.
Yes we can say how shyte it is etc etc but you're no doing SJFC any favours as a fan disclosing any "true" info (not that I believe anything I read on here or anywhere else).

Hopefully players and by extension families are ok.
It all just adds to the drama and excitement of an already dramatic season and upcoming semi final.
If speculated players are correct, then can you imagine the emotion of Davidson if we did go on to win the cup and he plays....
Could have the impact of focusing the team and pulling them together.

To add insult to injury SFA have nominated Kane as goal of the quarter finals in competition with Kiltie & McNulty.
McNulty by a mile but I voted for Kano.

Indicator & Dave, love you’re optimism! Only way to be, I just thought Celtic were more beatable than Bears, but if any team in Scotland  can derail RFC right now its Saints......think of it this way.....this tie is 2 teams chasing a double, just how far have St.Johnstone come in the last decade?  Fabulous Scottish football story, truly fabulous!  I love it!

We've been really impressed by the Doggersaints podcast.  While we are out of our studios it is knocking us into the long grass with its production values.  Good guests and maybe a little edgier than us although we've had some belters of guests over the years from Alec Totten to Jim Spence they all brought something fresh.  We never intended ours as a podcast but as a scheduled programme - it was the listeners on the internet that asked for (and paid for) the podcast.  But there's room for two.  Shameless link coming.....

    Completley agree,
John Hughes was very magnanamous in his appraisal of the game and our performance. I think him and Brian Rice of Hamilton are good guys and say it like it is.

Just like to add my congrats to St. Johnstone f.c., Chairman, Chief Executive, Manager, Coaching Staff, Physios, Medics, Players etc. etc. (Apologies if I've missed anyone) for another top six finish, Oh!, not forgetting winning the League Cup.
You have given ME and I know a lot of other Saints supporters a helluva lift during what has been a hellish (Covid) year for everyone.
    Onwards and upwards.
    Stay safe.

Canny believe Tanser is getting all the shit that is being flung his way.
He's obviously not the hardest tackler in the team and relies on his pace to intercept the ball and move forward to put in good crosses.
On balance, he can be caught out when a winger cuts inside, aka Chris Burke.
Thankfully that hasn't happened too often.
Whatever he decides to do, I wish him the best.

I do hope the team wear black arm bands as a mark of respect to the ball boy ‘manager’ Jimmy Wallace whose death was reported in the PA, ashamed to say we called him daft Jimmy when we were young, although no malice intended, so a wee win would be a fitting tribute. COYS

McCarry One Nil reacted to John in Harry Curran
Hello guys. I thought i would provide an update since this thread was fairly recent.
Harry is my uncle. He has obviously been retired a long time now. Since then hes done odd jobs such as the taxis and the likes. Hes currently labouring for a building firm and enjoying it.
He talks fondly of his time in perth with the saints and he was a source of pride for me and my brother as young kids having a pro footballer in the family. The one time we went to perth to watch him the game was called of for weather i remember.
I remember watching him play for Partick thistle in the inter toto cup in 1992 i think it was. They were beaten 2-1 and my uncle got the goal. That midfield goal threat as some have previously commented. Thistle in europe still makes me laugh.
He loved his football. Even though wages for players at his level were not the best. I remember him telling me he would actually be out of pocket playing for some clubs.
He put a lot into his football and is still a very fit guy. Even if he likes a few more beers these days.
So yeh thats oor Harry still football daft and a good laugh.

All the best to the saints.

I see that Chairman Park has published a letter he has written to the F. M. citing it was everybody's fault, ( including allowing Septic fans to demonstrate outside Parkhead in Dec.) ,  for the incidents in George Square.
Also claiming the memorial benches wouldn't have got damaged , had they been removed prior to the crowd's arrival.
    F.M. to blame.
    Deputy F.M. to blame.
    Police to blame.
    Justice Secretary to blame.
Sevco really are Scotland's shame. (along with the other cheek of the same arse).
