you're right on both counts, sadly. In this case, there was a majority of women on the jury. There does seem to be evidence that women find rape defendants guilty less often than men.

He was a really good player in the Saints team that started sliding down the leagues. Went to Dundee United in about 1984, I think, and never made it as big as I though the would. Good, solid player and scored some useful goals.

welcome back Smarmy! Yes, this is a game that could go different ways. Saints games have been like that for a while. We're on the cusp of being really good, but every now and again throw in something substandard. A team in transition, I guess. On current form, Saints to win, but the above caveat remains.
