4G doesn't exist..... I work for a manufacturer of synthetic turf. 1G is green outdoor carpet like the original astroturf. 2G is short pile (under 25mm) filled with sand. 3G is up to 65mm pile height filled with a mixture of sand, ground up rubber granules or equivalent. There is no surface around which has overtaken the 3G technology and there won't be for quite some time.

4G doesn't exist I'm afraid. We are still on 3G. The surface at McDiarmid is one of the first 3G in the UK still in use. It does need replaced and should have been after maximum ten years use (it is now over fourteen years old)

Midge for me.... I know Hasselbaink scored, but I thought he was rank today. Passing was poor, slow to close players down and should have scored 4 or 5. Still, another win!!!

Thought they did themselves proud today. Dave, Cregg and Pawlett were especially good. United looked pretty awful at times. What's worrying me though is our distinct lack of firepower. Where are the goals gonna come from??

All the lads did well today. I thought Cuptie and Cregg were very good, but Pawlett edges it for me - a real threat going forward which we haven't seen since Maskrey and Moore!

Onto the next game lads. If the bad run continues for the next 3 games that Ghostie mentioned, my optimisim might start to dwindle. Until then, COYS!
