They are there to be hurt, not the team of last season. So get right in aboot thum, which means Avril and Captain Kirk will play 5 5 0 or 4 6 0 , just to be on the safe side.

Horrible game to watch, however playing so badly and get a point, will do. Just a word on todays opponents- I hope they get relegated and never darken our door again, anti football , time wasting and falling about 'injured', an absolute disgrace.

Just seen a dreadful stat......In his 18 games in charge we have scored 5, yes FIVE goals from open play. Simply not good enough.

Reminds me very much of the Davidson/McLean combo at its worst. I have the fear.

In aboot thum, nae messin.

Dundee shredded us down their left hand side the whole game , first half especially, but nothing was done to change it, by the coaching staff.

Free hit - git right in aboot thum

Having watched mostly absolute dross for nearly 3 seasons I can understand why people would not want to drag a friend along.

Get right in aboot thum.

If CL thinks that performance was acceptable, the man is deluded. It was shite...end of.

I often get the impression Saints' response to every idea is to either dismiss it as "we tried that before" or "that wouldn't work". But what alternative suggestions are they generating in-house?
Among the people running Saints, who has actual experience of growing a sports/football club and its fanbase in the digital/social media era? Who among our board understands these things and has experience of them? Where do they get fresh ideas from, and how do they implement them? What happened to all the ideas Kirsten Robertson spoke about implementing when she arrived?
Kilmarnock published a document this summer where they explained what their attendance targets were year on year and what they'd done to hit those targets. Do Saints have attendance targets, and if so what do they do to hit them?
I'm so bored of the Browns using every single public interview as an opportunity to whine about attendances. We've come through over a decade of unprecedented success and our board did barely anything in that period to harness public interest and grow the support. They slept in the run-up to the 2014 Cup final, they slept after it, and then they did the same when we won the Double (although I'll accept that allowances need to be made for that happening during Covid). They allowed our best ever manager to walk away for nothing because they couldn't be bothered to do whatever they had to do to keep him happy. And yet when it's going badly it's never their fault. It's always Perth's fault for not blindly dispatching 10,000 people along to the ground every fortnight to watch a team that for most of the last two/three years has been plummeting rapidly downhill and playing the worst football of the McDiarmid era.
Fair City Unity have done more in a year or two to bring in new fans and keep them coming along than the club itself have managed in several decades. Does that not tell them anything
Best post on this subject, well said. Keep the faith comrades

Quite enjoying all this chat about not wanting Levein's negative football...it's like we've all been sitting there watching Brazil for the last 10 years.
Exactly, Davidsons dross and McLean was not much better. Lets keep an open mind on the new manager , support the team , win the next 2 games and it may give some hope.

Really hope Saints are at some point talking to Sven Sprangler about who the players are he knows from Austria who might be in a similar situation to him - maybe guys looking for a fresh start and up for playing abroad - who we could look at bringing over here. Got to be worth investigating, surely?
Has to be worth investigating

David Healy of Linfield being mentioned on here, more of a Tommy Wright type of appointment (in more ways than one) but his daughter works in Glasgow as a trainee solicitor, just saying. Maybe too much ' the Rangers type' baggage, not for me.
-
We need to get away from the media driven drivel, always the same, they come up with the same names to cause a bit of a headline. This appointment has to be spot on and be our boards/Geoff/Stan decision , without outside influence. Just for once go left of field and get someone in who will get us out of the shitehole we are in.

A player sweepie...

The media weren't needed for this sacking, decision was probably made before Stan and Co left StMirren park

It was bad enough under Broon jnr, Flaxerty & Clum, but this mob seem to be equally as bad. Just the stock comments about irons in the fire , offers made etc. Get your fingers out ffs. But as normal fans treated like mushrooms, fed sh*t and kept in the dark.
Time for Levein to go
