  1. All the best to Callum at Queen's Park๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  2. I agree, he was a bit of a surprise appointment but really do wish him well for all our sakes. I must admit that I'm one of those that after our brilliant cup successes we had then 2 absolutely shit seasons did think after the team getting dismantled as it did that we were due a reality check and we've certainly had that so I'm going to stick my neck on the block and say he probably is the best choice going forward and hope he proves a lot of people, myself included wrong and starts to get us back up the table.COYS.
  3. Maybe not what everyone wanted but if the man does a job for us then I'm happy. We would have reservations, moans regardless who got the job. Wouldn't say I'm his biggest fan but we needed something different this time. He's got the job for now so we need to back him, unless it goes t__ts up from day one then we can only pray for a miracle cure which is not going to happen. Lots of negativity which is understandable but fingers crossed we'll be making our way up the table soon. COYS.
  4. I was up in court in front of Bertie Heeps not long after I'd left Grammar.
  5. Scott Brown for me is a non starter and wouldn't like to see him in charge. Admired him as a player but like Macca don't think he's got enough experience at management level. Fleetwood didn't work for him and think would be same for us. This has nothing to do with being ex old firm either. The guy's just not ready.
  6. Diabolical how Spoonie was treated. He had at least another season left in him. At least he has the club in his heart and would give 100% all the time. Got too many duffers now. Couldn't lace Spoonies boots.
  7. To be honest I hope we do look at someone not already mentioned. Don't think there's anyone there who could do a job for us. Would love to see Tommy back but probably not very realistic.
  8. Miss Taggart, was she dark skinned? Seem to remember her at grammar.
  9. Mr Muckle Tulloch Primary. Used to knock the shit out of you at 5 a side in gym but brilliant guy. Very musical too. Nice guy but had loads of great teachers at Tulloch. Mrs Stewart, Mrs Andrews. All brill.
  10. Charlie Rae stayed in craigie. Think he was a boxer and a milkman.
  11. Aye, was like that. Had a milk round in 70's. Milkman I worked for used to disappear for ages in there. Left me looking after van.
  12. I heard Gordon Strachan has thrown his hat in the ring.
  13. Sad about Macca after what he did for us a player but for the good of the club he really had to go. It was getting embarrassing for us. He was ruthless in some of his decisions and possibly there were other influencing factors but we got rid of too many good players and brought in too many just not good enough I do hope with all my heart we get the right man this time who can turn things round and whoever it is I wish them all the best. Saints have been in my heart for more than 50 years and it saddens me to see where we are right now. Onwards and upwards. COYS.
  14. All the best to Spoonie in his new venture at Inverness. Legend.
  15. Think Max is now starting to prove people wro g. Spoonie should have stayed to bring him on even further. We csn only hope all other signings are going to put us in right direction. I think manager been ruthless in choices but hope with all my heart it pays off.
  16. Wjy did Spoonie have to go? Got utmost respect for Mr McClean but he has been utterly ruthless and hope all this upheaval is going to pay off. It's our club and want to see him do well but I recko n we had another season at least out of Spoonie. You can probably tell I was a big fan of his and hope he does well wherever he goes.
  17. Remember him, maybe not well but do recall him from my ballboy days vaguely. Always sad to see someone so highly respected at club go.
  18. Just want to say a massive thanks to Shaun Rooney for his absolutely brilliant contribution to our team over the last couple of seasons. Legend, maybe, but one thing's for sure he will be sorely missed. All the best at Fleetwood big man.
  19. To quote Bowie" we can be heroes".
