  1. Everyone is entitled to vote for who they wish surely?
  2. Eh? He's not my dad Singapore saint is my old man
  3. Great win last week, same XI. Look at aberdeens run when they named the same XI for about 8 or 9 games
  4. I have a u16 season ticket going spare for the east stand today. If someone wants to use it you can collect it in craigie or I will be in town from midday
  5. Any ST holders not going to the game today? On a shameless scrounging spree!
  6. I am a defender of Gary Mac.. But his failure to track his man cost us dear. Frazer Wright should have cost us too but Boyd shat it. Can't take anything away from Mannus. Reminds me of two seasons ago, after 6(?) games without a win WHERE WILL THE NEXT WIN COME FROM and we then went on a fantastic run. This side has it in them. To go out of a cup to a team who showed the passion that we usually do was upsetting, simply put. But this is not the end of our season
  7. Aye there was a chant, lasted about 10 seconds, about five guys shouting FREE FREE PALESTINE. Would never have been heard 10 rows away never mind across in the main stand. At the cup final there were Rwanda flags, Greek flags, Canadian flags, Saltires and Union Jacks (probably more). A Palestine flag surely then can be welcomed to a football match, it's not for UEFA to decide the reasons for individuals bearing flags. On the other hand, the UK is involved in an ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Does this mean we now cannot bear Union Jacks at any football matches? Oh and of course with the referendum coming up, a saltire or a Union Jack should be construed as a political banner and therefore we should receive further punishment
  8. I agree Aitchy with the point you're making. But I also think that inclusion of Andy Roberston to the Starting XI last year proves that Strachan doesn't have an Old Firm bias (Wallace would've been easier to pick). I've been happy with Strachan's inclusions including the likes of Burke, Anya and Hanley so I'm willing to wait and see on McGregor
  9. Welcome to the club. I think he is a good signing, brings experience from down south and can play at full back as well as in midfield if needed. Ability to play a number of positions is something we need to think about with such a small squad. What do you think, good signing or bad signing? Still waiting for our 27 goal striker though...
  10. Ormonds is showing the game tonight
  11. Former Liverpool legend dietmar hamman to replace tommy wright?
  12. Without offering an opinion of my own id just like to state a fact. We have beaten two fantastic sides in European competition in the last 12 months, finished top 6 for the third time on the trot and WON the SCOTTISH CUP. 15000 turned up at Celtic Park to see us lift our trophy, 15000 have attended out last two European games in total. We should be celebrating fantastic times for this club (the fact we feel aggrieved at losing a match closely in Europe says a lot for how good times are) We aren't celebrating at all. There is so much I'll feeling surrounding the club with negative comments coming from fans, players and coaches. This all stems from somewhere. The clubs hierarchy have amazingly managed to turn the fairytale like atmosphere into an atmosphere of loathing and disgust. This is possibly the darkest moment in the history of our club's management (not team management)
  13. season tickets aren't valid for the game.. in my opinion that means your seat isn't reserved. saints just trying to appease season ticket holders who love a rant whilst doing nothing for those who may get hooked by coming along to Euro games. If a family of 4 sit along a row and one of the seats is "reserved", ST holder comes along 2 mins before kick off and displaces them, it isn't going to have a positive effect on anyone
