  1. You can see his latest hat-trick at http://www.livingstonfc.co.uk/livitv/hamilton130413/livitv.php
  2. Just back from Livingston having watched Stevie score his 2nd hat-trick for us in 4 days, it could have been more as he also hit the post and missed a couple. I can't quite believe we got him from you for the full season, I thought he would get recalled in January, but luckily for us Lomas let him stay for the season. As I said on my post on Tues, no one at Accies expects us to be in the running to sign him when his contract is up, but I would be gutted if he ended up at Rangers. There are some weaknesses in his game, but he is still young and I believe that he is the sort of player who will score goals in any league if you give him the support. We brought Hasselbank to Scotland when we were in the SPL & Stevie is a far more prolific striker than NH, so I can't quite understand why he was not given more of an opportunity by Saints. Do the right thing & Sign him up now before anyone else gets in. His goal tally this season is all the more remarkable given that he has played in a very poor Accies side who for most of the season have created very little up front. It is only within the last 10 days or so since Billy Reid left that we have really started to play again. We return to Almondvale to play Livi again on Tue night and it would be great to see Stevie get a hat-trick of hat-tricks. Regardless of where Stevie ends up he will always be given a great reception at Hamilton.
  3. Just watched Stevie May score a hat trick for us tonight, it could easily have been double that & he was brought off 10 mins from time. Stevie has kept a really poor Accies team in Div 1 almost single handedly with his goals. He deserves his chance in the SPL, I am not sure whether he will make it, but I hope he does. He can be too greedy at times & he loses possession a lot, but he does know where the goal is & has scored some crackers in a team that under Billy Reid did not create much. He was also played as a lone striker for Accies which at times must be a thankless task, but in the last couple of games since Billy left he has had a strike partner & this has definitely helped him. In answer to previous points, he does train with us & will not return to Perth before the end of the season. As far as next season is concerned safe to say he will not be with Accies & I understand he will be out of contract. I would suspect he will receive several offers, but hope he goes back to Perth & is a success for you next season. Thanks for the loan to Saints & thanks to Stevie for providing some good memories in an otherwise poor season. That said our team is very young & I hope we can be back up challenging with the likes of Saints over the next 3/4 years. Good luck for the rest of the season.
