    Killie v Saints 19/9/15 ko 1500

The only thing about starting Sutton is that, when we play with Cummins and MOH wide, we don't get close enough to Sutton for him to be effective. I would rather have the same team (Muzz or Liam...don't care which) with Kane replacing Macca.

    Whats The Atmosphere Like.....

I'm not sure what that has to do with Broon's point to be honest.

    Saints Announce 2013-14 Profit

The cost needs to be incurred though Cagey....we can set aside money/budget for it etc but if you don't "do it" then you can't include it in the Profit & Loss. I guess that's my point earlier in the thread. That profit comes during a year when we did well (income wise) and didn't do anything major infrastructure wise.

    Saints Announce 2013-14 Profit

The accounts will have been worked on during June and July so, even if he didn't know at the end of May (or June), the club will know by the time the accounts were put together.

    Saints Announce 2013-14 Profit

I'm pretty ertain that you would still need to include it (even though you hadn't physically received the money) as the event happened before the year end. Maybe there's a way of including it in 14/15 but I don't think so. Maybe it says in the notes or something. Percy can maybe clarify?...

    Saints Announce 2013-14 Profit

It'll be in this set of accounts...I can't see how they couldn't include that income.

    Saints Announce 2013-14 Profit

Haven't read them but based on what you've said, that's a £250k profit which includes any monies gained for winning the Scottish Cup, a decent run in the League cup and a few European games. It's not a lot when you consider that's pretty much as good as it gets.

I'm sure he'll be smiling as he reads this thread via a new alias....

I don't particularly disagree with any of that but he's only worth what a buying club will pay. Right now, with one year left, I think we'd get a £1m...signs a contract and has another year like last year and it's more than doubled.

I knew all those anti Rotherham/Tory rants had to be vodee induced.... Enjoy your day.

Welcome Hardolez21...I'm sure you're gald you made your 1st post. As Kyle says, if the money's right, we'll accept. Around about £1m will be the right answer....then it's up to the man himself to decide he wants to play for Rotherham or not. I do think he'll go mid championship (where he goes after that will be up to how he applies himself). If he thinks Rotherham will stay in the Championship then who knows...the rumour has never really gone away and certainly been the team allways mentioned. Personally, I think he'll look for a a team who he thinks might push onto the premier league in a couple of years (Wigan, maybe..Forest, Bolton). That might sound a bit disrespectful to you guys, but I'm sure you get my point). As an aside Kyle, I would take Arneson as part of the deal....

    Player Contracts + Transfers

Simon Donnelly and Phil O Donnell went down to Wednesday at the same time but I don't think anyone else went from us. Can't remember anything about turning down £1m.

Ryan Gauld Signs For Sporting Lisbon

Off topic slightly Smarmy......how much of the Robertson/Gauld money is Jackie getting to spend on players. I know there's been a bit of movement but have there been any fees paid?
