Scott Tanser, Stefan Scougall, Callum Hendry and Kyle McClean all fit in very well to our over 30s club IMO.

If the latest rumours of Storey to Kilmarnock, MOH to Partick, and Ciftci to Dundee, all come true, imagine what this site will be like..

I was going to add Beattie to your list but see that it's been done in the post above this one. I don't think the budget has ever recovered to the level it was at when McInnes left. It's a different chairman now but you can see why Wright has a grievance as having come in when McInnes headed south, he'll be aware of what we were paying back then.
I thought I'd look at the numbers and see how many senior players we've had making up the squad each season since promotion. With what seems like the most number of younger players now involved, the trend was pretty much as expected and shows what TW is having to work with. I used players aged 22 or over to define senior and stuck to it but it when you compare the ones at 21/22 now (Gordon, Gilchrist etc...) to guys like May, Davidson and Hasselbaink (who along with Fisher are only really notable players under 23 to make an impact) then the actual squad size in some of the previous seasons would be one or two higher maybe. I took the number as being in the autumn of each season (i.e. before January transfer business).
Couple of other things worth noting are there would be players on First Division contracts in 09/10 especially and Wright is currently trying to lose Watson from this season's squad.
2009/10: 23 senior players 2010/11: 21 senior players 2011/12: 22 senior players 2012/13: 20 senior players 2013/14: 19 senior players 2014/15: 18 senior players 2015/16: 17 senior players 2016/17: 20 senior players 2017/18: 18 senior players I think that represents what we already know about the movement of the budget since promotion. It was at its highest in 2011/12 (we signed five strikers alone in the summer),  Lomas took a hit then jumped ship when it was going down again. Wright enjoyed a slight increase last season (confirmed by chairman) but what happens now? Steve Brown says he's prepared to back the manager so surely we should expect another two or three established arrivals?

I'll be pleased if we get Scougall, but can't help but feel he has string-us-along-all-summer-and-then-sign-for-someone-else written all over him.

If this does for Perth as finding Richard III did for Leicester does this mean that Saints will win the league then reach the final stages of the European champions league?!!⚽️⚽️

I feel heart sorry for everyone connected with saints tonight....especially the manager and players.  What a wanky, stupid,  Dumbf*ck, moronic,  ungrateful, classless, clueless,  idiotic, way to behave.  Another remarkable season of outstanding achievement sullied by an outright lack of professionalism by two grown men who must have 3-4 hundred appearances between them,  utterly baffling!

Not a good week for scottish football, after Wednesday's carry on between two managers, we are constantly shooting ourselves in the foot.

These screenshots of a 19th century Perth map show Shuttlefield close approximately where the section of Scott Street between Canal Street and South Street is now, on the left side of the map. At that time Scott Street only ran between Canal Street and Marshall Place.

There's big signs on mill street and the high street which have had posters up for ages, the Horscross literature and social media stuff has been plastered in it. All the venues have had posters up, they've had promoted ads on Facebook and Twitter. It's also been on the last 4/5 years and is an established part of the Scottish music scene.

I think something like this - the Merchant Square in Glasgow - from the carcase of City Hall would be a great idea.

Perth is so close to many towns and cities with better major chain store shopping so it really needs to return to it's independent retailer focus. Sadly when you look at the existing plans the Council has they offer nothing interesting or unique at all. It's all about maximising the rent economy of new business units and endless carbon copy new home developments as opposed to supporting existing businesses and communities in Perthshire.

As for the jakies, if you think Perth has loads you need to get out more. Anyway, where are the powers that be supposed to move them on to? Most of them are homeless and I doubt there is enough shelter provision for them all. Actually solving the problem - offering treatment costs a lot of money. And who should pay? Council? NHS? No quick fixes for that.

The idea about different rents for people who do/don't take care is Daily Mail territory. Having lived beside such arseholes the idea is tempting. However, the cvnts who wreck "their" homes invariably don't pay any of their own money on rent or council tax so Joe Public ends up paying any fines. And if you chuck them out on the street? Well, meet your latest town centre jakie bampot.
