Not a massive fan of Liam Caddis although think some of the criticism is a bit harsh. Would be good seeing him after 10 games in a row or something like that. Scott Brown on the other hand is just an exceptional player which I love watching. Him over Lappin every week for me
Just to clear things up about the Kerr twins if you haven't found out, Jason is centre back that has been on the first team bench a couple of times and Greg is the striker who has only featured a couple of times for the U20s
Ally Gilchrist score a volley from outside the box and Kyle Lander scored after the keeper dropped the ball. Very good team performance. Craig Thomson had a good game and Brodie Gray and Paul Simpson were brilliant together in the middle of the park
Think players like Easton and Craig Thomson could benefit from going out on loan and maybe Scott Wilson as well. This is called a developing league but can only do so much for players. They need to play first team as soon as they are ready. No point wasting them in these types of games. Also very impressed with the younger players like Rhys Evans and Brodie Gray both of which I think are about 17 so have a couple more years of developing at this level.
I was told last year by one of the U20s last year that the two highest paid players at the club on £1400 pw were Alan Mannus and Stevie May because they were internationals and had been at the club a certain length of time. Also the bonus for winning the cup final was £5000 each for the first 11 and £2000 each for the players on the bench so who knows what winning the final would of got them
Playing Macca up top on his own did nit work at all. No support for him at all and we couldn't put 5 passes together in the first half. In the second didn't think we were that bad were very unlucky not to score and not get a penalty. Played a lot better with kane up top with Macca gave us a lot more options. Don't get too doom and gloom folks
